I'm at the dealer now and I'm back in love with the A51..I haven't seen in person yet, just by looking at pictures it looks really good! Area 51 looks good with the gloss black tho!
hmmm, yeah still says no tracing information, wonder if my dealer got it wrong or I misunderstoodI had trouble with the automated person understanding my letters. Try to use the phone corresponding numbers for letters and it worked much better.
example: TTGX is 81814192 ( because T is the number 8 on the phone pad and itโs the first letter) X is the 9th number but second letter. And so on.
After entering in the letter sequence, hit pound sign. Then enter your rail car number. Hit pound.
Let me know if I have confused anyone.
Jay,In case it helps, I created a contact in my phone for Norfolk Southern's rail car status phone line, and automated the entries required after dialing in. It worked most of the time, although sometimes the automated system's delays between prompts changed, throwing off the timing of the preprogrammed keypad entries. Just made it easier than manually making the entries over and over.
8006355768,,,,,2,,,2,,,8849#,,710774#,,,,1
Commas are 1-second pauses. 8849 was the alphabetic part of the rail car number, TTGX in my case. 710774 was the numeric part of the rail car number. Adjust commas and rail car numbers to fit your needs.
CSX shipment status calls could likely be set up the same.
Who knows.so what are we thinking - are these new eta dates something we can trust or will they just get pushed back again? It was stated 10/11-10/17 for me so we are right in the start of it.
also this is funny:
Yeah mine looks different too. Tried refreshing the page this morning and it went back to where you input the VIN and order number. It somehow had someone else's VIN and order number which was really weird! Put my info in and I see TBD in the tracker section but still shows tomorrow for estimated delivery under the VIN... Also the source code has changed so I can't see any of the usual info there (etaStartDate or etaEndDate). My tracker has imploded. First picture is from the email link and the second is me putting in the info myself. Hasnโt worked all day, idk whatโs going on
So, it's been at the Norfolk Southern Auto Distro Facility in Petersburg since Thursday afternoon. NS changed its status to unloaded on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, my cousin doesn't get a forewarning when the trucking company picks up vehicles for her. The drivers don't know what dealer's cars they'll be assigned to deliver until they get to the facility. She does grease her drivers' palms a bit, which she says gets her some preferential treatment.Jay,
When are you coming down to take delivery?
post pix of course,.
I'm in Houston and mine went from the Gibson Indiana Rail yard and transfer to BNSF Railroad.I told myself I wasn't going to pester my dealer for the railcar number but went ahead and did today. He ended up sending me a screenshot of the tracking as well.
Since it has left this has been the path it has taken:
Wayne, MI
Walbridge, OH
Cincinnati, OH
Louisville, KY
Cincinnati, OH
Pottersburg, OH
Gibson, IN
I dont know enough about CSX's rail system but when I looked up the Rail map to see where it goes, I was surprised it doesn't make its way to Texas. Does that mean it jumps on Union Pacific rail?
I'm in Houston and mine went from the Gibson Indiana Rail yard and transfer to BNSF Railroad.
After that it went much faster.
Then went to:
Fort Madison, IA
Baring, Mo
KC, Mo
Edmond, Ok
Into Texas and Delivered to BNSF in Pearland, Texas.
You can still track it on CSX.
Congrats! Good looking pup........and Bronco!Long weekend but finally got mine picked up and drove home. My father passed away in late August and we planned to have his service 10-9. It actually worked out perfect. Bronco was delivered to my dealer in Oregon last Tuesday 10-5. Left Colorado Springs Wednesday night in my 2019 f-150 for the 18 hour drive to get there. Picked up the Bronco 10-7. Service on 10-9 then drove it home on 10-10 18 hours. The expected delivery was 10-28 so I am so thankful that it was early and the same week that I had to make that brutal 18 hour drive anyway.
It drove wonderful on the way home. No complaints! Steering is tight. Suspension is perfect. We even took a detour to the top of Warner Canyon ski hill to test the 4x4.
