If a 6" drop is too much for your trailer, I'm guessing a longer hitch that gets out from under the spare will work?
You could but that would put it way out there. I don't think the added leverage would do you any favors. And putting a locking pin in is kind of a pain as well. Not a lot of room in there.

Well, since we can only tow up to 3500 lbs., I don't think it will matter much. Just moves the pivot point back a few inches. I think our two Harleys on a motorcycle trailer are less than 3,000. Should still track OK. ๐Ÿคž

Well I put mine on the lift bottom looks good. went all around everything is tight...

but I did find these clips improperly installed and the little tabs busted off...
So those go through the tie-down loops and snap in to cover where the loops are hinged. Yes?

Correct. they cover the bolts for the loops.

True. I've yet to load mine yet but the drive with it empty sucked. Can definitely tell how soft the suspension is. Great for offroading, shit for towing but definitely a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
