THIS HOLE IS PRESENT ON BOTH SIDES OF THE VEHICLE WHEN THE ENDCAPS ARE REMOVED.
IT CAN BE USED TO INSTALL A DUNE FLAG QUICK-DISCONNECT AMONG OTHER THINGS.

Let's discuss how f@&$ing stupid this design is... I'd say 90% of aftermarket the yellow and red zones would be covered by accessories. Ford should have adjusted those zones maybe with internal funnel/ diverter or something

Yeah, every time I see an accessory my first thought is "That's no good, it blocks the intercooler", poor design for sure. But I have filed it under 'It is what it is'
