Cyber Orange Badlands 2-door w/ MIC hardtop

Cyber Orange started out as my favorite color and has evolved to my least favorite.

I kind of went the other way. Never considered CO. Started on AMB, A51, thought about Rapid Red but stayed with A51. Emailed my build to my dealer with Cyber Orange.

Well, Atchinson in Belleville is where my reservation is but despite phone calls to my Bronco Specialist and emails...i'm getting no response. SO, now i've been talking to Bill Brown who will do MSRP on the FE and Brighton Ford is most likely going to do the same.

My salesman at Atchinson sent me an e-mail yesterday saying they'd be shut down today and through the weekend due to covid testing. That's likely why you can't get through to anyone. My order was placed on the 20th (Z-plan so no haggling). My dad ordered his Badlands through Bill Brown..

FE would definitely look better with the mod top. I'm doing MIC with badlands because of the grey grille. I couldn't do a black top with a BL grille

Totally agree! When navy pier was the only FE interior I was going to get a Badlands and the MIC top looked just fine on it with the gray grill and mirrors not painted black

Yeah, it's certainly nothing like it's renders online. Every live picture I've seen looks very flat.

On Ford's website the MIC top looks much darker, and all the like components appear to match. Of course most of those are computer generated renditions. Photos taken in the wild or in factory are a different story. The top is definitely gray and the fenders seem to be a slightly darker gray. I've seen this in every live picture. What did you have in mind for an easy fix other than waiting for the black painted top?

Even though my order is in, I'm not likely to get my Bronco until MY22. I'm curious to see if they'll change this discrepancy with miss matched colors in their plastic.

Also, while I am on this topic, "Lake Orion" is not pronounced like the constellation. It is like "Oreo", but instead it is "Ore-on"

With all the thought and care that went into this vehicle being my Wrangler killer, I'm just kinda surprised that fantasy (renders) and reality (live) would be so far apart. They should all be the same shade or it looks like you got different aged parts from a wrecking yard.

That looks like almost exactly what I was going to order before I canceled my reservation. And the MIC top in that photo is a great example of why I canceled my reservation, lol. I'm just going to wait a couple of years until I can get what I actually want.

Cool to see South Lyon mentioned. I frequented there quite a bit before moving to NM. Witches Hat Brewing is a good little brewery

Rio Rancho, a NW suburb of Albuquerque (45 min south of Santa fe). Nice, newer city thats more spread out.

Santa Fe is ok but crazy expensive. If I chose to retire anywhere in NM, I'd look into Taos. Awesome smaller mountain town
