From those that have seen concepts, or know someone that has, any truth to this?

That thing was kind of cool in 04, but gawdy then, and even worse for today.

GM’s of dealerships haven’t been seeing them, it’s been reportedly owners. Not putting too much stock in it just based on that alone.

Look up the 2003/4 Mustang concept cars for the auto show, granted they were not as comparably gaudy as the 2004 bronco they have some striking resemblance in design language. The mustang that launched was a bit more muted, and from 2015 on up the it has been a much sleeker design while calling back to both the classic style and that of the concept. Similarly the new Bronco looks much better than its 04 concept, IMO.

I think it goes without saying that the Bronco will not have those mega chunk Tonka tires either.

I hope not. It was kinda ugly even if it got the general shape right.

I like to remind people that this was designed and built closer in time to the last FSB in 96 (8y) than it was to today or the launch of the new Bronco (16y).

Details. The basic body shape is going to be good based on the tarped image... it's the grille, bumpers, flares, and body accents that will make or break it in the style department. I've said it a dozen times - if they match what they did with the Mustang redux, it will be beyond expectations.

"Our Richmond VA BOAR group was asked to attend a Fall Festival at a local Ford dealership on Saturday. A VP with the dealership who also had an early bronco on display with ours said a sales manager and one other person at the dealer saw the new bronco at a dealer event at Ford several weeks ago.
He said they were asked to leave all cell phones and electronics at the door then they were told not to move out of their seats and the bronco under a cover was revealed for 30 seconds. He said they could not see the front axle but it had a removable top and doors.
He then showed us this picture on his phone and said this is what he was told is the closest rendering.

I also checked out the Ranger pickup while I was there and test drove one to get a feel for the Bronco. It is ok but I am worried a loaded Bronco is going to cost $45k or more.

He also said it should be revealed to the public around March 2020. He said Ford is going to unveil the Mach 3 all electric Mustang first in November."
