Ok, major movement on colors given no mod tops. I feel like more people are transitioning to lighter colors to balance the lighter MIC top compared to mod black, etc.

Looks like Im not the only one moving over to A51 with the news of no mod tops. Some other colors have really suffered given the pairing of the MIC top.

On the fence here, really want a painted top (black or white will do). However, the uncertainty about Cactus Gray's production color and roof options will most likely see me order a painted top simply for the fact of pushing the order down the line until CG is seen in person, and making the correct decision for my preferences the first time.
Full disclosure: I've been told by a buddy who owns a body shop and now two other shops that sanding and painting the MIC top is not something they will do, regardless of price. Risk of it going bad is too high. Raptor lining or Line-X ultra are also options if you want a colored roof.....

Area 51 may be moving up because it is one of the few colors that an all black leather interior with orange accents work with.

Velocity blue with black soft top for me as it matches the Black Diamond interior. Stands out well too.

I'm on the VB train with A51 and OW as secondary. The problem isn't the exterior look but with the body color exposed on the interior, a buyer's choice might clash with the interior options. I like VB (be nice if we can actually see one built), but the interior body color on the doors and roll bar doesn't match well with the sandstone interior on the BB. I'm going to build a BD to see how close in price my current build is just to see the VB color in the BD interior.
A51 still has the blue tone albeit muted which works for the interior coordination. The fallback is Oxford White as it will coordinate any interior. I plan on wrapping the black metal dash.
