11/17 Reservation and already scheduled to build 6/21/21??

Typically - companies would have made a master plan of trim mixes to manufacture in a plant And source parts for it.

They did not anticipate the demand shift to upper trims; and hence when they start to build now; they can do the base / mid trims earlier since that has already been secured based on their original assumption vs orders.

It will take them a few months to shift it all back to the upper trims. That means a few of the lucky ones here who went safe with the base/mid trims get lucky to get their Broncos early.

So in other words, clueless.

I really wanted a 2.3 / manual but I also wanted a '21 if possible so my dealership said to go ahead and put in the order with the auto and we could change it in December when we converted to a '22 order. I am so glad that recommended that instead of doing the code 99 thing. The only downside to the email today is that I'm going to be completely inefficient at work this afternoon.

I read your post and that sucks. The only thing I will offer is that my dealer was 99.9% sure I was looking at March 2022 based on the their allocations and when I did my reservation. She was blown away when I just called her and told her about a 6/21 build.

I am getting a 2-door Base Sasquatch, 2.3, AMB. I reserved on 11/17/2020 and just got an email saying, "We are excited to let you know your 2021 Bronco™ BASE 2 Door has been scheduled for production. Your vehicle is scheduled to be built the week of June 21, 2021." I am blown away! I thought I was looking at mid-2022 to get it. Are they pulling my leg?

You maybe ordered from a dealer that only got a handful of orders and maybe nobody else reserved one before you.

People who went to one of the dealers offering crazy deals and ordered after 2nd day might not get one until 2022 even if they reserved before August because of the volume of early reservations, but I could see people who ordered from dealers with less than 10 orders total getting one before them even if they reserved in Jan or Feb of this year because they aren't going to just send the whole first wave of Bronco builds to a few dealers jsut because they had the most orders even if they have a ton of early res timestamps.
