The megazilla is the iteration of the Godzilla. it has better intake runners and Plenum, larger throttlebody opening. It has a ported head, more aggressive, cam, and more forged internals. it also carries a warranty from ford performance. so if you are not going to tear thw motor open and want warranty. That's the way to go. even if u do tear it open for a more aggressive cam, it has features the godzilla does not. similar end results between megazilla and built godzilla, just different paths

First, good luck! Second, thank you for sharing your progress!

On the weight, springs, and valving ... just skip the front mounted winch, maybe throw on a lighter steel or even aluminum bumper, and you'll be at the same weight over the front wheels as many, and even lower (in weight, not height :D) than some.

And finally, God speed my friend.

I'd like to see someone dump 45k into a 3.0 at the same time and see which one lasts longer and makes more power.
Shit you can take a measly $2k and make 550whp from the 3.0 very reliably. Spending $45k doesn’t really add up, but it’ll be cool either way 🤷‍♂️

Which motor would you pick assuming all were available? Godzilla, coyote, or predator?
6.7 Power stroke! (I don't care how many wheel bearings I have to replace lol). But of those options i'd probably lean towards the 7.3 over the 5.0 for the type of wheeling I like but could go either way. Predator is too rich for my blood lol, no way it doesn't cost way more, but i'd love it.

The next thing you know: A Bronco conversion with an Allison V-12 from a WW2 P38 Lightning, complete with GE turbocharger poking out of the roof.
Unrealistic expectations deserve unrealistic engine choices!!!

but damn I like it

...
Yeah, I hope the OP plans to use the Megazilla not the Godzilla. I was shocked to learn the Godzilla has only 430hp. That's less than 60 hp/l. A benchmark for a good production NA motor is 100 hp/l. It's unclear to me why such a motor even exists, perhaps simply only as a base for extensive customization. It better be cheap at this output.

In the work truck/commercial segment low specific power is very beneficial. People usually think its the longevity, sure that's part of it, but its more about the brake specific fuel consumption. That engine is expected to have a high-power duty cycle and if the job demands relatively high power almost continuously, large displacement will do that for less fuel than a smaller motor (either revving or boosting to match).

For something like a Bronco, this is beneficial because the duty cycle to cruise at highway speed turning 37" or 40" mud tires and lifted 2+ inches on top of that is significantly higher. Add in roof racks, cargo or trailers and its not hard to imagine a 7.3 returning better mileage than a 2.3 at that same high duty cycle. (but we aren't doing this for mileage anyhow right?)
