Today I stopped by my friend’s shop to check out the matte green wrap he just did on his Bronco and it looks beast! If you’re in the Houston area and have been wanting to get your Bronco vinyl wrapped or PPF’d, but don’t know where to go, go check out EVS Motors. It’s a very reputable shop in Houston and he does it all; vinyl wraps, PPF, tint, suspension, wheels, etc.

I also stopped by to get my wheels installed. Went with some Venomrex VR-601BL 17x9 +0 offset in Coal Black (24.6 lbs. each) and stuck with the Sasquatch tires. I’ll be selling my Sasquatch wheels if anyone is interested.

My Order Story

I originally selected a MOD top for my Bronco, but after hearing that the top was going to be delayed to 2023, I had a tough decision to make. I attended the Austin Off-Roadeo and had a chance to drive a Badlands with a soft top. I loved how easy it was to use whenever I felt like it. That, along with the news that Ford would include hard top prep kit made it easy for me to change my order to a soft top. Two weeks later (9/2/21) I got the “Scheduled for Production” email with a build week of 10/4/21. To my surprise, after about another three weeks (9/22/21), I got the email that my Bronco was built and on 9/24/21 I was notified that my Bronco had shipped! I was about two weeks ahead of schedule! My Bronco was finally delivered on 10/7/21 and I picked it up on 10/9/21. I was fortunate enough to purchase from an honest dealership for $1,000 under invoice.

Picked up from the dealer. I don’t smile in pics much, so this says a lot about how happy I am 🤣

This is legit the first Bronco that I've foun
Unusual to say the least. Most likely scenario is it’s going from the CSX to the UP with interchange in East Saint Louis. It could go BNSF but I think that’s less likely. No network congestion in the area that would lead to the size of delay you’re looking at. Hopefully the tracking just got screwed up at interchange and it will just magically show up there in Phoenix.
It's on BNSF. got that much confirmed today. No other info so far.

Can't believe how many similar mods we both have. I have the same wheels on order, only in bronze. Yours looks so good!

I was planning on swapping wheels and tires day one. Now you have me thinking that running the Goodyears on some new wheels (0 offset most likely) might be worth considering. That stance you now have looks just about right with the Sasq fender flares.

Yeah I figured I'd just wear out the Goodyears first. Didn't really see much benefit spending more money on new tires, especially since I would've gone with a similar size.

So far FM reception is still good. Haven’t tested AM much, but I would think it would suffer a little.

Looks great! I didnt consider keeping the OEM Squatch tires but it makes sense if I'm going with an aftermarket 17x9 wheel.

Based on the pics it looks like the wheel is flush with the flares or maybe just a cm beyond with the 0 offset, is that what it is in person?

Also on the build and price, it says the cargo mat isn't available with 2.7L Badlands...must be a mistake since I see you have one?

Not a mistake. Order it through the parts department. GVWR, just shake your head, issue won't allow it to go through on order.

Best way to explain it is pretty much just the sidewall lugs/design of the tires is what sticks out past the flares.

I bought the cargo mat separately. I would recommend ordering from here…

Stripped her nekkid! 🤣 Took the top off last weekend and took the doors off today. Definitely need two people to remove the soft top. Thing weighs over 100 lbs.! My wife wasn’t able to lift her side up so I had to get a buddy to help. Not only does your roll bar get scratched up when folding down the soft top, but it can also get scratched up removing the soft top completely. I have PPF on my roll bars and the hinges scratched right through them! I recommend wrapping the hinges or roll bar in towels or something while removing. The doors were super easy to remove. Took 15 minutes while taking my time and this was my first time removing them.

Went back to my buddy’s shop today and got some tint. He uses only Prestige Films so I went with the Spectra PhotoSync; 30% on the windows and 70% on the windshield. Looks and feels so much better now! Also got my newborn pic framed 🤣
