I was trying to decide between several manufacturers offerings to fill the holes in the Modular Bumper. I ended up with the @ORACLE Lighting fog lights. Why them? Because a set showed up for a price I could not refuse.

They arrived in their box with everything in as new condition, harnesses, warranty card and all. After fit checking them I started on the wiring. Each assembly has two harnesses. I took the sheathing off of these and combined them into one harness for each side. The two harnesses were combined with a third one using some of the extra sheatheing. I ran the passenger side up and across under the radiator cover for a nearly invisible installation. I also pulled the harnesses up enough on e each side so that the connectors were up in the body, well protected. Each side has a hidden 12" service loop so that those connectors can be pulled down to access them. All joints are crimped and soldered. Then everything in the wiring has at least two layers of insulation.

Unsolicited Review: Note, I am not sponsored or aided by anyone, all my purchases are on my dime.

  • Upon arriving and opening the box I found the items very well packed and protected from rough shipping.
  • The instruction sheet is simple, to the point and easy to follow.
  • There was more than enough length to the supplied harnesses, all four of them!
  • Quality: Nicely built. The wiring between lamp modules is excellent (that coming from someone whos career has been the design and manufacture of harsh environment cables and connectors).
  • The supplied connectors are of good quality and sealed units.
  • Appearance: Subtle but the more you look the more you see.
  • Fit and function: No complaints, bolted right in with no fuss. It took less than 15 minutes to do the physical installation. It took me 6 hours to wire them up. That is because I am obsessed with clena, neat proper wiring.
  • Lighting: Wow, the fogs are good but the lasers are definitely the fifth zone of lighting.
  • The only thing I wish was clearer is right/left adjusting of the individual pods.
Overall: I would recommend these units. I have not checked Oracle's website, but would be interested if the lasers are available seperatley. Would like to experiment with a few of those up high in the above windshield. And that is the second project in line, right after the bumper bar driving lights.

Looks awesome OP!
I myself am also trying to find some fog lights that fill in the holes of mod bumper. I’ve been looking at Baja Designs tri fog pods and now possibly these.
If you are able to can you provide some night shots of how bright they are?

I found them on eBay, "used" but in good condition. I dont think they were ever used, there is no indication that they were ever mounted and the harnessesses had never been unwraped. 400 bucks. With cali sales tax and shipping, 452 dollars.

Glad they worked out for you! I almost bought those a few weeks ago when I saw them as well. Was worried about the longevity of them given what I’ve read on other Oracle product posts. They look great though!

Ok, A very preliminary test.

First Stock headlights low beam:

Then stock High Beams:

And finally, lasers with high beams. The areal illuminated in the distance is exactly 1/2 mile away:

Will do some real testing once the Super Off-roaders are mounted for comparison.
