This is production cactus gray? Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Pepperidge farm and many forum members remember a day when Cactus Gray was a color..... Now? Well I guess the pinkies-up, wine & cheese art-gallery crowd who are vigerous off-roaders needed a color to span the incredible gap between Oxford White and Iconic Silver.

Pity.

Dang it Rick! We have discussed this previous but man... every time you post this picture I get hearts in my eyes. You are just reinforcing my immediate body wrap in exactly this color.

Nah, there are about 5 VB painted cars at every Ford dealership across the country. Guess they didn't feel the need to pump out more of the same so we could see it, again, for the first time.

Did you know that Cactus Gray was spotted at some press events? It looks good!

Strangely, the official Cactus Gray thread essentially died when the production color leaked.

It seems they are building these things. So where are they going and who are they for. Are they all for testing and show? I am guessing there are many more than we have pictures of. Are they just testing the production line?

Area-51 is growing on me, but Carbonized Grey is the only one that gets around the fenders and MIC top. In photos, at least.

Area 51 and the MIC gray top look good.

Wildtrak with MIC gray top is a no go! The grille and mirrors being black really clash with the top.
Wish we could get the wildtrak right away with the black soft top.

Anyone know what “late availability” means for the hardtop that should come with the wildtrak?
does that mean waiting until 22?
