I was expecting a little better - around 20 as advertised. I have the base model, 2.3, non sasquatch and standard stock tires.

I'm about 120 miles in with very little highway driving. Does anyone have similar experience? I'm a little worried about what a lift and larger tires would do now.

I have a Base 2.3 4DR Sasquatch and Fuelly has me at 17.5MPG average at 5784 tracked miles. This includes roundtrips from Cincinnati to Charleston, SC and Cincinnati to Gulf Shores, AL. I have a best hand calculated mileage at 19.6MGP. Trip computer is routinely 1.5ish MPG higher than hand calculated. Give it a couple of thousand miles and an oil change before you start worrying.

Also, if you can find non-ethanol fuel it helps

It depends. Your driving conditions and habits have a huge impact. If I hit every red light my mileage sucks. Like 15-16 mpg sucks. Likewise if I live every light like a quarter mile it sucks. Typically I drive about 60/40 highway/city split with 2100 miles total in the high 18s, pure highway gets 20-21. Stock Badlands with 7 speed. I did verify by hand, typically within 0.5 mpg for me, couple times spot on.

2.3 in a 4-door Big Bend here, getting 16-18 driving mostly in town, lots of moderately sized hills. No highway trips over an hour yet.

I got the same 17-18 when only doing local trips, shot up to 20-22 once I did a 150 mile road trip.

ok, cool. As a nervous person with my first new car, this makes me feel better.

Def still getting bigger tires and a lift.

2.3 BD I drive mostly city, light highway. I average 17 MPG. I'm at around 1050 miles. When I first got the truck I was at 16.5.

Getting 19mpg on 91 ethanol-free. About to hit 3K miles and noticed ~1mpg improvement around the 1500 mile mark.

The base manual with stock 30” tires and 4.46 gears has the lowest gearing of any Bronco, so it will rev out a little higher than other models. Larger diameter tires (only taller, not wider or heavier) theoretically could mean better fuel economy. I don’t have any miles on my Badlands, so I can’t comment on MPG.

4dr badlands with 2.3 and manual trans... have almost hit 1000 miles. My work commute is ~60 RT on freeway and I'm seeing 18.7 so far, very early to tell. In city driving I've seen ~15-16 mpg est. Still early though, only had since the 18th Dec.

What octane are you all running? Are you also running an eco mode or another mode?

I don't have enough miles to really provide data, but my 2.3 manual is averaging a little over 18 and that's really all rural stop and go driving.

91 here, I don't bother with Eco. I think all it does is soften the throttle a little. I never noticed any tangible mpg impact paired with a manual, but I didn't like the way it felt.
