Before that it was once at the local grocery store but I’d think by now it would’ve ran lower quality gas through.
Unless the computer is still thinking you're running worse gas.

My wife and I just came from Costco. It's an 8 mile drive down the freeway to home; we filled up and reset the trip meter, and she wasn't particularly gentle getting on the freeway and around people. At one point I saw 14.5mpg.

But by the time we got home, it was at 20.8.

Oh--and we use 87 octane.

This is what I typically get when running my highway setup (stock rims/tires) on my 2021 Bronco OBX with the 2.7 Ecoboost.
How often are you in Sport mode? That's pretty impressive.

Well, either that is, or your Photoshop skills are...

Nearly exclusively on road, off-road it depends on the terrain.

Mind you, I don't get that mileage on 35's, I tend to get about 19 mpg. 4A Sport Mode using Adaptive cruise control.

Month old soft top 4 door OBX 2.7 w/4.7 rear end, non-Sas here. .....
How does one get a non-SAS OBX with 4.7 gears? Just curious.

Edit: Added OBX for clarity

Well, first you swap the front drive unit for the M210, then you regear the M220, assuming you have the rear end with the locker to begin with or you swap the rear axle.

One buys a 2023 model that was built that way.

Brand new, built December 2023, 0 miles, right off the lot. On this past August 24th.

2.3 4-door manual with 33” K02s, trektop, and ford performance tune (93 octane only, computer correctly calibrated to slightly larger tires, auto start set to ‘off’ permanently) = 21.5 mpg combined. Always use sport mode but do use cruise control anytime I’m on highway/freeway.

I think the winter gas starts showing up in Sept so that is probably the biggest reason for the change. It takes a few tanks for the computer to really start to figure out the mpg so it might also be adjusting for that. Are you keeping track of your miles/gallons on paper as well? The computer is usually off by .5 to 1.5 mpg. I'm averaging 17.9 mpg on my base Sas 2.7 and the computer has me at 18.8 so it's off almost 1 mpg. I've also tried 93 vs 87 octane and there was no real difference for me so I'm running 87. I ran 93 for several months in cooler months with winter gas and warmer months with summer gas and it's the same as 87 for me. I rarely get on the highway so most of my driving is local roads 45 and under.

You must drive with a very light foot and coast a lot and never drive over 70 (Like I do, LOL). I average 22.8- 2 door Sas with 2.7. It still burns a lot of gas to me even with 22.8.

I’ve only had my ‘23 OBX for 2-3 months and it was getting 19-20mpg in City (I strictly only use premium gasoline) and the past two fill ups the mpg has sank to 17.5 consistently. Any thoughts?

only change is that I swapped my hard top for a soft top a month or so back. Everything else has stayed the same. :(
You are clearly doing something wrong.

My 2.3 gets 22.2 mpg running 87 octane at 7,500 feet. I don’t waste my money on expensive gas.

Ford Bronco 17.6 mpg on OBX w premium gasoline, thoughts? IMG_8642

2,3L with SAS, I have used 87 octane from the beginning and after 45000 miles my average is 19.5 mpg. A lot of highway miles since it's only 2.5 years old

Another thing that will affect your MPGs is your tire pressure and as the temps start to cool your tire PSI will drop. That will also have a negative affect on your MPGS

Interesting, when I bought my wife's OBX non-sas the only other gear option than 3.73 was 4.27.
