It was very off camber and I believe the huge amount of cargo weight and the RTT raised my CoG significantly.
Thank you for sharing. Unofficially, these can handle about 32 degrees side to side or front to back unloaded, FYI. Of course, speed momentum and load will affect this. What pressure to you run offroad? I run 20 - 25 # because I am more Captain Cautious worried about losing a bead or getting a scratch on the paint than Offroad Adventurer. I will go run some fun stuff in 4L, water, rocks and Baja stuff. Do you recommend different for the GY 35's? There are a couple of places to view the angles on the dash. Like Dirty Harry said, 'A man's got to know his limitations'. I watch angles and rocks for wheel placement, but there is so much to watch and manage when it's challenging. I have been at 29 degrees a couple of times unloaded and it feels like 90 degrees! Congratulations on cleaning the trail from the abandoned ones. I vote to ditch the RTT. A ground tent and air mattress works for me.

It would be very hard to go back to that, I've never slept so good camping since I got the RTT. Maybe a lighter model, this one is 130lb and there's one that's 70.

F’ing amazing!!! You wheeled the heck out of your bronco in one huge road trip. Props to you and all your fellow trail mates.

I’m familiar with the first handful of trails you ran (ruby, slick rock, sour grass, deer valley) as I made it a personal goal to try as many trails as I could when I moved up to Northern California, albeit I ran them in a toyota :censored:.

but F yeah. Stoked on your epic trip, and your willingness to continue on. I’d be pretty defeated; but YOUR perseverance prevailed!

Thanks for sharing 🤩🤩🤩

Yep, that will definitely impact the COG. Really sorry to see, but luckily it appears that the only damage was the door. You should be able to get that replaced through a wreckers at a good savings, or from Ford for a pretty penny.
Good luck.

I found one the right color back east for 1000, and a fender for 350, plus freight comes to 2k. The mirror is another 1k, that one hurts the most.

Your current fix/hack seems sufficient …

Good score on the door and fender, but that mirror is a crazy price, ouch!

I think I can piece it together with a base mirror for 5-600, but that's still insane. Still checking part numbers to confirm.

Sorry Mike, but badasses the whole lot of y’all.

Shame for the roll, but don’t let that discourage you; it’s now part of a story, expensive one, but a good story years from now. You’ve also learned some things to add to your already stout wheeling arsenal.

Great write up and pics for sure. These wounds will heal and you’ll be better for it.

Chin up always. I SEE YOU, WHEELER!

Orrr, leave the tent as-is and put a set of superduty axles under the Bronco to bring the CoG down. Science! đź’ˇ
