Drove 196 miles today @ 80MPH with an empty 12' utility trailer today. Averaged 10.7 MPG. This is a real world example of what MPG new Bronco's get! I have yet to pull the trailer with my Polaris on it, but I can imagine! Using 93 Octane Unleaded! Also used Active cruise control the whole time!

BTW- It's a heavy duty welded pipe trailer!

In what parallel universe is pulling a trailer at 80mph a good idea? Wow. This is probably the same group of people that think the speed limiter due to the tire design/compound is a communist plot to steal their freedom.

I pulled my 15 ft Jon boat 70-75 mph and got 16.5 mpg with a 2.3 auto Sasquatch. I’m guessing the total towed weight was 1200 lbs. Your trailer must be much heavier.

At 80 mph in a cool designed brick pulling a trailer that engine had to be screaming. That's not real world. Real world would be pull trailer and load with a truck or keep it around 55 60 max in the bronco. Even then these are not real tow vehicles.

I’m general, the EcoBoost motors take a huge mileage hit when towing / hauling, even something small.

I’m lucky to see 8.5-9 MPG whenever I tow something behind my F150 Raptor (3.5 EcoBoost).

Possibly because of 80mph ? Wondering what 60mph would do..
60 while towing is definitely more real world in my case. I haven't even gone 80 yet period.

I don't normally tow that fast, just going the flow of traffic this time had me at 80. I normally tow 65-70. I will say commie's do suck!

Drove the same route a week prior at the same speed. I could not tell much difference with or without trailer. It pulls nice, just not in the wind! In the wind she's like driving a sail-kart.

So you are telling me a Bronco that was designed to go off road doesn't haul a trailer as good as a truck that was make to haul stuff
OK got it
I know it's not built to tow! I have my F-350 for that. I was just putting the info out there incase someone wondered.
