Any pictures of this happening? Love to see it. That’s my biggest concern because my boy is destined to be tall.
No, sorry, I didn't grab any pictures of my friend sitting behind me.

Do you mind stating what the length is of the 2021 from side mirror to side mirror? Trying to see if it’ll fit in my one car garage
Unfortunately I cannot. IT has been returned today.

Oh!!! Someone asked about how the MGV felt in the cold. It took a noticeable amount of time for my buttox to warm up my seat. This one just had the base package so there was no dual climate control, and no seat heating, and even a good 5-10 minutes into the drive the seat still had some "chill" on it.
Thanks so much for this info. MGV probably like leather with no seat heat. I am in VA and seat heat is not a huge necessity, but my F350 seat heater on the drivers side only works when it wants to. Not a big fan of getting cold. This has definitely helped me to decide to go with the mid package. $1500 for seat heat, remote start, and all the other stuff is worth it!

So I have been trying to get this set up for awhile, but today the stars finally aligned. A buddy of mine was able to bring by one of the pre-production (This point is key for later) 2021 Black Diamonds by with the base package, upgraded wheels and tires (32s), and with the roof rails. We met at a nearby park and parked it next to my 1996 Eddie Bauer with it's 31s. We parked near the drain, so that's the reason they both seem to "lean".

Here are your comparison pictures:

Can you tell me if the MIC top is smooth and paintable or is it a heavy texture finish that would require heavy sanding?

I think you could paint it with a standard amount of sanding. It felt pretty smooth.

Any chance your buddy can take a measurement of the inside width of the front of the frame rails?

The headliner was the key note for pre-production. The roof tops didn't seal perfectly, so it wasn't super quiet on the freeway.
Do you mean this was fixed or is it still an issue? What did you think of the cabin noise?
Thanks for all this info, super helpful.

The Ford website will easily answer your question but, yes, Cyber Orange is available on the Black Diamond.

Based on the Build and Price as of today you can get Cyber Orange on the Black Diamond. That being said, I would not.

It was not fixed on his vehicle. It was noted as a problem as a test vehicle and one of the things that will be addressed in production vehicles. That being said it was still quieter than my 96 on the highway. You could just hear some wind noise.

This just makes me want the 2dr less and less. I love my 92, and they want me to spend $38k on a compact SUV? Can't sleep in it, can't put a bike in it hardly. It's a good looking vehicle, but it's tiny. Makes me think I should get the Bronco Sport Badlands with the 2.0L if I decide to get something.
