wow thanks so much. that overal height with rack was super helpful. The Bronco is f-ing short. Ford advertises that BD as 73" with soft top. And that shows shorter than 73" with a MIC which I figured would increase the height over the soft top. I shouldn't have any issues with my BL build with rails and adding a 2-3" lift fitting in my garage.

I'll measure it again tomorrow with the tape bumper to bumper.
Fords number is to the back of the spare not to the back of the bumper.

For driving on a trail the bumper to bumper length matters more, but for fitting in a garage you need the length including the spare tire.

The surprise is how big the backseat is, bigger then the older bronco by a lot. I really think the 2 door will be great space wise for most people.

Thanks for the good tape work. Width is most interesting. 6" narrower than the 96 is good, although tires and flares probably make OAW about the same. At least scratchable components are inboard.

So I have been trying to get this set up for awhile, but today the stars finally aligned. A buddy of mine was able to bring by one of the pre-production (This point is key for later) 2021 Black Diamonds by with the base package, upgraded wheels and tires (32s), and with the roof rails. We met at a nearby park and parked it next to my 1996 Eddie Bauer with it's 31s. We parked near the drain, so that's the reason they both seem to "lean".

Here are your comparison pictures:

Nope. Too short. 174 for the 2021 2 door. Thanks for not exaggerating the length!
174 is counting the spare tire length I think.
Not trying to bust your chops. Just don’t want people freaking out that’s it’s 30” shorter than it is.
Some of the numbers count the length to the end of the spare tire and some are to the bumper. The spare tire sticking past the bumper is some but not all of the difference in numbers.

I did not get to drive it, I rode in the passenger seat. We drove out to a different park, about 40 minutes one way. Manual was fine, he was in sport mode. He said it still had decent power even in 6th on the freeway.
If you angle the vents toward you, can you feel the AC vents that's closest to the doors, next to the grab handles?

I wonder if the length is a worst-case figure with any option? Maybe it's 174" from the winch hook to the back of the spare?

PS: Aeronose Broncos

Appears to be more clearance than in my Tacoma, and it's usually not an issue in it. Doesn't look like it'll be a problem.

Also, I always place my cup in the passenger side holder if I'm the only one with a cup. Just easier to use while driving.
Plus the cup is not in the way for manual shifting. Bugs me in my Lancer.

This is fabulous! Randomly, I saw this exact model on the road 2 days ago. It looked gargantuan....and I’m very happy to see the our ride is going to be more ‘trail-friendly’.

The 2-Door 2021 proportions and dimensions look absolutely perfect!

Yup, I would agree, but the spare isn’t hanging out 30inches IMO. He will recheck today. @TheFuzzyBunny has been great for doing this for all of us.

Or even if you can’t take a picture just look at them and be all political like and use some abouts this much rounded to the nearest whole number. Please. Not cause I care much it’s just me and the wife and about 250 in gear but beer gets heavy quick.
Beer cans or Beer guts ?
