FE is an expensive sticker package. Get the one you want! If it’s Base, get Base. Nobody knew what FE would be when it was announced. Now that you know, you are under no obligation to keep it.

Don’t want to sound a capitalist pig,(frowned upon these days) but plenty of folks on this forum might be willing to work deal with you. They order a base squatch for your FE order. I’m sure I’ll be lectured on contracts, taxes and the like but it’s possible.
FE has intrinsic value. Don’t squander it.
nope. You’ll be having more fun on the trails without looking at those monitors and trusting your spotters.
if your into modding at all, you’ll have saved 30k or more and have that much more to play with if you decide to hack up your rig and throw other fun aftermarket goodies on.

Don’t feel bad OP. I had a FE reserved and switched to Badlands. Will save me thousands of dollars and it’s literally the exact same vehicle minus a few color changes and the rubberized wash out floors which I wanted over the carpeted floors anyways. I can spend this extra money that I will be saving on aftermarket accessories also.

But I know dealers who would pay you for that FE reservation, don’t squander it.
Originally we were told FE was a production of 3500. Then a website snafu we end up with 7000.
Honest question. When a FE reservation cancels should FE holders rejoice? Result may be <7000?

I did the exact same thing... $4K less!
Fords fault for not making the First Edition something special. Stickers don't get you home.
Uhh but it is special. They’re producing a limited amount in the first year.

What was the point of reserving a FE, so that someone else wouldnt get it? Yeah, you should get what you want, a base.
