I mean they are stock tires on an off road vehicle..... Last time I checked most stock tires weren't exactly made to set world records....

No. I did ask one of the guides about that though. I will not name names or specifics, but my sole opinion is that they are not impressed with the GY's. They are professional off-roaders though... so that is like asking a PGA pro which clubs to buy.... kinda depends.Dang, I realize that almost all of those miles are offroad but even so, that seems to be a lot more wear than there should be with limited miles.
You didn't happen to see how the 33" BFG KO2s were holding up, did you?
great analogy. Iāll wait to worry about this, and even if worrying ends up being warranted, what a āproblemā to have! No. I did ask one of the guides about that though. The rubber compound on most tires will wear on rocks. Tires with hard compound rubber will last longer. This is simply untrue. I've replaced tires at 35,000 miles, with 10-15k of those being off pavement all over Colorado and Utah, that have looked better than those.
how many miles on the odometer ?Here are some pics I took of the GY Territory tires at the OffRoadeo.... not sure if this is bad or good. I worked at Discount Tire in Phoenix for a year and I never saw wear like this. Maybe designed into the compound for better grip (being optimistic)? Many tires had tread blocks broken off as well. That being said.... they got us through the course with little drama. Pretty sure I will have a second set of "purpose built" tires/wheels for real off roading trips.
1,765 mileshow many miles on the odometer ?
Wow I hope the ridge grapplers do better1,765 miles
That was my thought as well.I feel like the last sentence in that review didnāt read what the first 4 sentences had to say.
Not at all! This is simply untrue. I've replaced tires at 35,000 miles, with 10-15k of those being off pavement all over Colorado and Utah, that have looked better than those.
