Dam this is taking forever. I’ve barely scratched the surface of reported turbo and waste gate failures in Bronco6g. If anyone wants to add to post please do I will update the count!

I’m estimating the number is higher than the reported engine failures on Bronco6g.

If that's the case you better start collecting build dates (specifically engine builds) because that's what's going to make the difference If there's a trend or batch or whatever.

Good idea. Wanna volunteer for the cause? Or anyone else wanna volunteer? Maybe a spreadsheet might help. The guy that built the fancy build week sheets might be able to help. I will pm him.

Just pick up my 2.3l manual. Same thing Bad Westgate on the turbo after 15 miles on the bronco leaving the dealership....

Sorry to hear. My guess it’s the waste gate actuator, which is a fairly easy part for the dealer to replace.

I have the list updated now.

Add another to the count. 2023 2.7, Engine light and wrench light came on at 8 miles when the tech was almost back to the dealership during PDI drive. Bad drivers side turbo.
