2.3 Auto Sasquatch Club

I think I am going to join this group. downsizing to 2.3 in order to upsize to sasquatch and stay while staying within budget. I am a little concerned about DI, but I havn't heard of any issues with this on the 2.3... yet

My mechanic isn't particularly concerned about it either. Guess the trick is to drive them with gusto and use quality gas.

I want the capability that comes with low-end torque, for me the 2.3 was never a consideration. I guess I'm a torque snob.

I have a VIN and build date of the week of June 28th!!!!!!!!

The carbon built up myth has been going since the Ford DI EB engine hit the market in 2013. If there was a problem we surely would have known it by now. I have a friend with a 2013 F-150 3.5L (uses it on his farm), and is now close to 200K miles, and has never had the valves cleaned. So, there's that.

And my 2011 F150 is in the same boat, 230k miles, runs like a beast!

I had a chance to drive a 2.3 with Sasquatch, and I think you’ll all be pleasantly surprised with the power and torque. No need for the 2.7 at all, unless you plan on towing a lot.

Had a 2D BD ordered and once I saw the Sas in person I changed my order!
BB 4D 2.3 Sas soft top CG. Aux switches floor liners. Can’t wait to get it!!
