Yes they fit no problem. No rubbing at all. Stock height for now, but I'm putting a zone 2" lift on next week.

The driving experience isn't bad at all. The car isn't as snappy as it used to be, but still has plenty of power when you gas it. Gas mileage is down about 1MPG and highway cruising sweet spot is about 2-3mph less than before.

A small update, I finally got the Bronco on the highway and it def changes the driving dynamics at higher speeds. There is still plenty of power, but I would say natural cruising speed where the car wants to stay has dropped a few MPH. Also gas mileage has dropped around 1 MPG to around 17.8.

The slightly slower highway cruising sweet spot won't have too much of a negative effect on me personally, but I could see how it would make long trip highway warriors upset. There is still plenty of passing power when you need it, it's just now the natural spot the Bronco wants to live is maybe 65mph vs 70mph previously. I'm mostly an around town driver so really no negative for me.
Did you recalibrate the speedometer?

Attached are some pics of my base 2 door that I swapped out the steelies for sas takeoffs 35 inch. Only mod was crash bars removed. This truck is auto with stock gearing and it runs great. I do not plan on changing that for sure the Speedo is way off like approx 11% but I am the only driver so no big deal when it says 60 I am going 67 and aware

Glad to hear 35s are viable with the 3.73s. So tempted to try for 37s, but probably not worth the risk. Not sure if I have seen anyone with 37s and 3.73s

You saved money going base bones . I'm getting a basesaquash with a big motor , huge difference in off road performance but the average Joey won't know trolling the mall .
Do the roof rack make much noise at highway speed ?

so my 3.73 gear auto should handle 33's like a charm planning a one inch level kit for it too. Thoughts?

I have driven a Big Bend with the 2.3, 3.73, on aftermarket 35s and was PLEASANTLY surprised. Coming from a full sized pickup truck it still felt "sporty" enough

I’m running 35’s on my BB with 2.3L and 3.73’s. It’s not horrible but I am working on regearing to 4.70’s with an ARB in the rear.

After driving for a few months, around town is fine and probably a bit improved vs stock. It’s not as peppy but it feels less spastic. The highway is where the gearing is really effected. Anything above 80mph and you really feel like you have to beat on it. Instead of cruising around 80-85 at a decent RPM, the car wants to live around 70mph. So the 35’s with the base gearing really isn’t for those who spend a ton of time cruising at high speeds or commuting.

FWIW - We just picked up my wife's '22 BB 2dr. I opted for the 4.27 gears. Our BB got the crash bars removed and 17x8.5 0 offset wheels and 315/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s installed within a couple of hours of picking it up.

I had driven a '21 w/ the 2.3, 3.73 gears and 35s - it worked fine.

The 4.27 gears seem perfect, especially on the Interstate. Cruise set at 79mph - zero issues. ECO mode is even smooth on the Interstate.

That stands to reason with the automatic.

My manual hates 6th gear with 4.46 & 35's.
No problem though, I just use 5th.
RPM's went from 2500 at 78mph in 6th ; to 2700 rpm at 78 in 5th.
Fuel mileage, corrected for speedo error, barely took a hit, if at all.

Trying 6th at 78mph, it puts the motor into boost and fuel mileage PLUMMETS, that's the biggest negative.
