This is a poll. What engine will you be getting on your new Bronco? The 2.3 or 2.7?

Also, list reasons why you are getting the engine that you chose.

Shouldn’t you say I4 instead of 4 Banger? Kinda influences the poll.

I still haven’t decided which one I’ll actually be getting. But I can say, I certainly prefer the 2.7. It will just come down to cost.
I currently have a 2015 super crew F150 with the 2.7 and it has been reliable, provides good gas mileage and surprisingly good power. I know some members will be upset that there is no V8 and I understand that, but if you haven’t driven a 2.7, it’ll certainly surprise you.

I’ll go with the 2.7 price-allowing, (if it comes to 2.3 bronco vs blowing out my budget, I’ll rock the 2.3), I’ve got the first gen 2.7 engine in my f-150 and it’s been a great angry sewing machine, and faster than a stock crew cab 4x4 has any right to be. Also, the 2.7 has port injection where the 2.3 does not, so carbon buildup.

Plus, torque, torque is a wonderful thing.

2.7 for me please. Why? Mooore poooooowa!!!!!!!
Seriously though, it's an impressive lil motor. The power curve numbers are fantastic for the F-150. I can only imagine that it will be more than enough for the Bronco.
Would I prefer a V8? Of course.
Are we getting a V8? No.
I'll take the 2.7
Who knows, maybe Ina couple of years Ford will offer a Godzilla-Bronco and we'll all be happy.(except that 1 guy who hates engines and said if you like a V8, your too old and need to off yourself before getting swept up in the current of change lol)

As long as the 2.7 isn't an astronomical upcharge, I'm in. I believe it's a $1000 option on the F-150.

Do this poll again after pricing announcements for more accurate results.
