I just bought a 2022 big bend and was looking for some thoughts on an exhaust. I like the MRT trail rated for the mid range note and the ease of installation (no bumper removal) but also have seen some decent videos with the roush exhaust ($200 more than MRT) and experience with either one? I most likely wouldn’t have an issue putting the roush on just never imagined taking the rear bumper off. And yea I know a 4cyl will never sound like a v8. I’m just enjoying learning to work on it and keeping busy. Thanks

Haven’t heard any in person, but the Corsa is my favorite from various videos. Plus (like a few of other brands) you can get an outlet that dumps out in front of the rear bumper instead some big, gaudy tips. It’s really going to be personal preference.

Wonder how it would sound with just a straight pipe replacing the muffler?
Totally unrelated but a big difference in vehicle/ engine noise between my wife’s OBX 2.3 automatic with lux and my BL 2.3 manual with mid package. Hers is louder even with the hood silencer pad and I can’t even hear mine running.

Just from videos I like the Corsa and Ford Performance sound the best. I read the FP has drone though so that makes me lean toward the Corsa.

Cherry bomb glasspacks are the only way to go, you'll never want to go back to fart cans again.

Like a louder Focus RS with more drone. Lot's a pops a burbles driving around town and drone on highway.

I live in NY for the time being so they’re pretty strict with straight pipes. What silencer of did you get? Besides wanting a little tone I mostly don’t want to hear the engine

The silencer I referenced is the hood insulation pad, even with that her engine noise is more noticeable.

I think that's what the Outlaw kit is basically a straight pipe. The bad thing about all of the exhaust videos is that I can't recall one manual being tested which is what I'll have. Can't stand that transition between gears on an auto but like it with a manual.
