2.3L vs 2.7L selection

Can someone help....looking at the Badlands, selected the 2.7L engine and it is making me remove the sound deadening headliner and the roof rails (?) I can keep them only if I select the 2.3L engine. Does this make sense?

Bunch of threads on this. It has to do with GVWR (vehicle weight). Has been a frustrating topic. Adding some items removes others...
