No one is poopooing the idea. It's guaranteed there will be at least a dozen aftermarket lifts the first year.

The OP thought the Ranger chassis was like the Bronco chassis, it is not, and I explained that in pictures.

Of course you knew all of that, and how users help others out here on Bronco6g.
My comment wasn't directed at your response. It was in response to Wvmtneer needing to tell him how this apparently isn't a real lift because it didn't fit his criteria of one. It happens in every one of these threads. It just gets tiring.

He simply said what he wants for his own lift is different, he never said it's not a lift unless you do it like he wants.
My definition for a lift kit for IFS involves a differential drop and larger/longer knuckles.

Eh, diff drops aren’t always all that. Usually used in place of fender trimming, which would be better in the long run. Some vehicles are just poorly designed and require a lot of lift for 35s or even 33s. The Bronco is designed ground up for 35s and will go bigger.

I’d rather have less lift and more room in the wheelwells, but I’ve also never been afraid to run a sawzall to get things right.

My mods will be to increase articulation. What exactly that will require on Bronco remains to be seen, but two additional inches of lift will probably do wonders.

Nevermind. The OP simply posted about a 2.5 inch lift not being expensive. He didn't ask if it fit everyone's definition of a lift. My point stands, and I'm done commenting on it. 👍

I was just looking at quality (best quality ever made in this world or next, the best on nine planets) lift kits for the Ranger and see you can get one for less than $1,500. A 2.5" OME lift is only $1,400 and anyone with a shade-tree should be able to park the Bronco and install it. Includes shocks and springs for 2.5" lift. Anyone can run 35"+ tires, even the base folks. I'm guessing the Bronco system will be similar!

One thing to remember is the Ranger has rear leaf springs. This is VERY easy and cheap to lift, blocks or drop shackles, or both. The Bronc on the other hand has 4 coil overs. Yeah spacers are cheap, but not good at improving the vehicles capability. JMO

Yes the lift is 1400 but when you buy tires and wheels now you are at about 3500 or more and I am guessing you 1400 lift is not as good as the Sas and you get lockers with fords for 5000

I can't wait this Bronco "thing" is gonna' be some fun. :ROFLMAO:

Note: this truck also has a BDS radius arm coil over lift as well.
