A Lexus GX broke its differential on the trail and the Bronco did an amazing job pulling it uphill with ease.
Attached one strap as a bridle to the Lexus‘ tow hooks, then a tow strap to a solid shaft pintle hook on my Bronco. Used soft shackles.
I was nervous a couple times the Lexus would run over the tow strap, I watched closely in the mirror and tried to keep tension without jerking. We used radios to communicate and had the other driver brake on the downhills to slow me down.
I’ve only done a couple other recoveries that were much shorter distance. Any tips are appreciated.
