The “nothing to see here” pics I’ve posted are sarcastic memes aimed at those that refuse to acknowledge the possibility of an issue with this range of builds. It’s poking fun at them for refusing to see any issues with the bronco, even after MIC 1.0 and now 26 blown 2.7’s.
I’m following your intent. Commenting on the rest.

Looking at the 15 known engine build-dates so far, we have -

- '1st failure range' (17-days) - 21159 thru 21175 - 7 failures
- 'clear gap' (31-days) - 21176 thru 21206 - zero failures
- '2nd failure range' (18-days) - 21207 thru 21224 - 8 failures

With only 15 data-points our view is still fuzzy, but to have a 31-day 'clear gap' in the middle is very unlikely, unless we're looking at separate failure ranges.
With data we have so far, it appears very likely we have some kind of a 'clear gap' in the middle.
I think you're on to something here.

If his helicopter swallows a valve at 3000 ft, is he f*cked or 45% f*cked?

Well, 5k miles and waiting for my turn... It's not if, it's when.
Dude I still haven't seen you around town, I haven't even seen a single Bronco here. Mine's a 214 build date and I've got just under 4K. I've got blown engines in the past two vehicles I've bought, I was hoping that buying a brand new one would end my winning streak, at least for a while.

yeah, you & @mpeugeot saddled me with it - so what choice did I have -

- also got tired of some saying 'baloney' about # of failures so far
Yes! How many times did we see “15? There has only been 1-2 on here so stop making up numbers!”?

4300 miles...on this one, still no issues. Waiting with bated breath, headed to Moab in April and really need this thing to blow now if it's gonna do it.

Need to go put 700 hard miles on it then you should be in the clear...at least so far everyone blown is under 5,000 miles

Last year there were several times when Ford shut down production due to lack of parts. I wonder if this 31 'clear' is simply that they weren't producing much?

My theory as well...Feel like I'm driving a ticking time bomb and don't want to stray too far from home.

I'm 21182 182nd day of 2021 – July 1...so Lima wasn't on total vaca. But only 2,000 tame miles on mine so far, so I'm not reassured in the least yet

As far as I can recall and search, MAP was shut down the weeks of 7/5 and 7/26. 7/5 falls squarely in the "clear" gap, while the second block of failures starts on 7/26.

I cannot find anything about Lima being shutdown during those same times, if Lima is where the engines are built.
