yes, and there's a new way to make an estimate - using the recently introduced Build-Week Spreadsheets

for instance, in March Ford sold 9,757 Broncos in U.S. ( not including other countries )

now, in the Build-Week Spreadsheets, how many B6g people posted their info, indicating March Delivery ?
- it's roughly 500 B6g'ers delivered in March ( including a few Canadians )

so this gives a rough ball-park estimate of B6g percentage ( % ) of Total Bronco Owners
~ 500 out of 9,757 would be roughly 5%
- of course some B6g'ers may not post in the Spreadsheets

- but this rough estimate says B6g represents less than 10% of Total Bronco Owners
Excellent work…….. troll.

My blend date was 3/11 and the engine date is 3/1. Not much time from engine build to bronco build, that was a little surprising.

Lucchese has a way of making things feel better :) he just pointed out via PM:

“you got the solid new -AB engine and with AMB 2Dr - it's a total Unicorn - could be the only one, or extremely rare, since AMB was discontinued”

Anyhow, here’s the new engine for those that may be interested. Evidently built in Feb. 2022.

Notes:
- in October a Ford Lima employee (@Jay3630, deleted soon after) made five posts re 'bad batch of brittle valves' - 'April batch' - see posts #1, #2, #3, #4, #5
- if the failures are caused by 'bad valves', maybe that 'April batch' has been working its way thru the system - then the problems could subside ?
- late October a Ford Service Technician wrote a post re nationwide frequency of failures - he said 'about thirty in the last month . . recorded in the Ford Technicians Forum page'

January '22 - Lima Plant Newsletter - § Quality, page-1
-- 'Nano valve supplier issue was resolved with more robust design and material changes at the supplier.'
I love me some JMP, use it for production stats. Nice work!

AMB = Antimatter Blue

It's rare because the Antimatter Blue was 2021 MY only. There are few 2 door Broncos in AMB to begin with, let alone many that would have the AB revision engine which is mostly going in 2022 and later MYs.

The dealer I got the 2DR AMB hard top from said it was one of only 45 made… but I don’t always believe everything dealers tell me 😂

yes, and there's a new way to make an estimate - using the recently introduced Build-Week Spreadsheets

for instance, in March Ford sold 9,757 Broncos in U.S.

Thx! The build-week spreadsheets are very interesting...especially the "Builds Per Day". Considering I'm a 21224...is there any data to show how many engines were built on 21224?

Good math, but I can't believe its that extensive. I was just today talking to my dealer - Akins, largest in GA - and they've not had a customer problem as yet, nor were they even aware of the issue.

at least two of the 45 are in GA
- so many dealers are head-in-sand, or full of baloney

So 450 blown 2.7’s ain’t enough to warrant FoMoCo letters to all owners.

Same with my dealer. They’ve delivered 18 Broncos as of last week and have had zero major engine issues with either engine.

interesting - sort of a new one - not sure if this problem has been posted before - this could be the first one

? what's the Julian date on engine ?
- others might have similar problem

? did Ford also replace the head-assemblies, while they were at it ?
I had this issue at 2400 miles. After two months waiting on parts (I was also told I could have driven it in the meantime but chose to put miles on their loaner) my truck had the same repair and was back on the road. Up to 4k miles as of yesterday; I did not notice an increase in power.
