Just saw this, and I didn't see it posted previously in the thread. I'm not sure when it was posted to the NHTSA site, but the letter is dated Aug 8. Basically, it's the information request to Ford from the NHTSA - 13 specific sets of info in various formats. Due date for the info is Sept 28, but I'm assuming given Ford's inability to do anything on time that they will ask for an extension.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2022/INIM-PE22007-88374P.pdf
Whoa šŸ˜³ lotsa info requested , but I guess Ford should have all this easily at hand (if they're organized)...

Been a while since any have been added to the list, think we're seeing the end of them? I've not been seeing any mentioned on FB, IG or other platforms either.

Some good news: FORD reimbursed my $713 towing bill!

So, my engine was replaced, my recalled top was replaced while they were at it, and now they've reimbursed me for towing.

In the end, it sucked to get stranded like that hours from home in freezing temps with my dogs, and to lose my 8 day old Bronco for 32 days, but I'm in a much better place with FORD now that they reimbursed the exorbitant out of pocket towing expense.

Iā€™m hopeful that the 2023ā€™s will be free from this.

So no blown engines since Aug 5th?

Maybe a sign of hope?
Hopefully so, though maybe some B6G folks in the hot zone removed themselves from the sample pool? Seeing @sevenfab lose a 21174 then a couple more fuel pump failures pushed me to finally summon the Carvana fairy. I'll play the lottery and see if Ford will build my Grange-tober reservation next year before price protection runs out.šŸ˜¬

Over 90% of dropped valve events range Julian 159 - 224
Blown 2.7 ebds Hot Zone - 2022.July.18.png

Notes:
- in October a Ford Lima employee (@Jay3630, deleted soon after) made five posts re 'bad batch of brittle valves' - 'April batch' - see posts #1, #2, #3, #4, #5
- if the failures are caused by 'bad valves', maybe that 'April batch' has been working its way thru the system - then the problems could subside ?
- late October a Ford Service Technician wrote a post re nationwide frequency of failures - he said 'about thirty in the last month . . recorded in the Ford Technicians Forum page'

January '22 - Lima Plant Newsletter - Ā§ Quality, page-1
-- 'Nano valve supplier issue was resolved with more robust design and material changes at the supplier.'
I have a 2021 Sasquatch Base model and have never had any trouble out of my bronco til 8/28 I was heading home and all the sudden I had 4 codes flashing on the display, truck lost power I couldnā€™t go over 5 miles per hour. Luckily, I was able to pull into a gas station parking lot about 3 miles from my house. The truck shut off, interior lights and headlights worked just fine. I tried to start the Bronco and it was not starting. I called my husband and son they came after me and looked at the Bronco . I had to call road side assistance took 4 hours for them to get to the bronco cause we waited on them. Get to the Ford dealership and got a call today saying the technician is pretty sure itā€™s engine failure. They said they would pull it back in the shop and double check it but he is sure it is engine failure. My Bronco only has 9,980 miles on it and has never gave me any trouble. My question is for people who have had their 2.7 engines replaced how long did it take to get the new and back up and running? Iā€™m making payments on a truck I canā€™t use and Iā€™ve had to borrow my nephews truck and he is needing it back as he purchased a new charger and wants to drive the truck I borrowed to work. I get that itā€™s his truck but that leaves me on foot. I still have a kid in school. How and what number do I use to reach out to ford over the bronco?

At 9,980 miles this is the highest mileage failure I've seen. @Ford Motor Company
