8.1 is pathetic. So much for being a jeep killer. Might just get the 392 at this point.
My thoughts exactly people seem to forget that they have to drive it on freeways to get to the trails. It’s not fun trying to merge in the traffic when you have zero power. Even the F150 with a 2.7 goes 0 to 60 and 6.1 seconds.

That seems pretty slow for the 2.7, even with 35s. I wonder if lack of a Sport mode makes a difference with the First Edition.
Personally I was expecting high 5 second range. That would’ve been great, 8.1 seconds is dangerously slow.

Ecoboosts need a little footbrake action to perform well from a dead stop. This was a real world test though. Off idle just stabbing the throttle. You can't do a prepared launch every time. I guarantee you a Wrangler Rubicon on 35's isn't any faster.

The 2.7L was previously reported to get the Bronco to 0-60 in 5.9 seconds. Im sure with the right driver and configuration, this will hold true. That engine is no joke. Neither is the 2.3L. Ford did a great job engineering the power train for these vehicles.
Was that with the Sasquatch pack?

Traction control did go on a few times. I also was in normal mode, and it was wet/raining.

We are planing on getting a Offical Dragy on a dry road this week.

This was all I had time for this morning.

Thanks

I have always said the Bronco is way too heavy of a vehicle. 6s on a F150 and 8s on a Bronco, despite geared for acceleration with a 4.7 ratio…

imagine having 1000 pounds from family and gear going on a weekend. It’s gonna be dangerous to pass a vehicle.

I am curious to see what the 2.3 does
