Not new to the forum world (been in the game since '00) and not shy from donkeys throwing useless shade. I got nothing to be afraid of cause they chose to post a useless comment. Again, sharing my thoughts on a forum regardless how old the OP is. I stayed on course with sharing my thoughts for the intent of this thread. If this donkey is so knowledgeable and has that much clout, if they are an administrator of the site then close or remove the thread. This site was developed to share mana'o old and new. That's what these platforms are for.

I4 is cheaper and easier to maintain if you are a DIY'er. Less parts, more space to work with. Most of the serviceable items are on the top.

V6 is harder to work on as the ignition stuff are on the top sides. But it does have port fuel injections to keep the valves clean all the time. More tuning potential though not by much.
