Nickp...You wouldn't believe how many times a day I use these same words (at least in my mind)!I will never understand how anybody could possibly think this...
And thanks for the specs, that should put an end to that.

Agreed. Although a down side when I owned a pickup - everyone asking me to help them move or haul stuff!yup. that's while I'll still have a pickup after getting Bronco. nothing beats being able to just throw some dirt, or gas cans, or what have you in the back of a truck without any concern for cleaning crap up or having to go grab a trailer.
Could actually be more for the Driver Assistance package (the bottom one at least)Here's a better look at the front cutout from another pic. It's for cooling.
More importantly the two door looks well proportioned vs that clay model shorty.Man I have to say at first glance without reading all the posts I assumed that was a spy shot of the new Ranger in the background. The Bronco (and camera angle I'm sure) makes the F150 look small.
Depending on how much you are looking to load. The stock roof will not hold much over 120 lbs. The aftermarket will need to supply internal bracing to the factory hardtop for any real load to be placed up top. A roof rack will be problematic for the Bronco at the start.Oh god please no!!! I think those things are absolutely hideous. Ford better not do something like that!
It looks like, from the leaked un-camo'd picture, they have an integrated roof rack that will stay in place even with all the roof panels removed.Depending on how much you are looking to load. Yes, but maybe only on the 4 door and only for removal of the "freedom" panels? It looks like, from the leaked un-camo'd picture, they have an integrated roof rack that will stay in place even with all the roof panels removed.
Maybe. I guess we'll find out soon.Yes, but maybe only on the 4 door and only for removal of the "freedom" panels?

Remember, those are exterior dimensions, interior dimensions probably have shrunk a little bit due to more advanced safety stuff.Seems like i get a better feel for the size and proportions for this thing from these shots than I do from the previous pics. I'm really liking what i see!
With that roof rack, I don't see the winshield folding down.....will never use it if it does. I'm surprised they even broght that up in the article, but if that is what the peeps want, that's what we'll get.
In my experience, having a NICE, LOW utility trailer with a good ramp gate beats a pick up bed most of the time. Anything from a fridge to a garden tractor are FAR FAR easier to load than having to lift them into a bed....God forbid the truck has been lifted to boot.
Mulch, gravel , firewood ...... once I get to the house, hook that thing to the tractor and I leave far less ruts or tracks in the lawn....unfortunately I don't currently have a field for a lawn.
That's crazy about the truck specs. I've always felt my 85 & 86 Chevys and 01 F250 were far roomier than the newest 1/2 tons.
I looked up the 1986 specs ..... it is only 1/10 of an inch wider! Maybe later I can find the interior specs, because that is where the difference, to me, is felt. Still not totally convinced.
Probably has a lot to do with everybody getting the damn center consoles.

It would be really silly if they didnāt offer that tent for the Bronco even though itās offered on like 3 or 4 other vehicles. ? So good point! I hope that intigrated rack is that strong. As far as the fronts are concerned the older ones are roomier. Seats are thinner as are door panels.
And as far as the broncos roof rack Im pretty sure that they have to be planning on selling yakima roof top tents for it soooo.... 6-700lbs static and 200lbs driving.
