Not sure how much you will save,Looks just like my existing Base with aftermarket upgrades.
Buy a Base Base, and take the 50-70k you just saved over the Raptor and do the suspension upgrades and add leather seats.
Engine excepted.. but even so you could probably still do an engine swap to a true V8 with that 50-70k price difference and still come out ahead.
You wouldn't start with a 2.7 or Sasquatch, because you are throwing it all away for race spec parts anyways. The Raptor has the same axles, so you keep that, but get a crate V8 engine for 7-10k and redo the entire suspension for 5-10k.Not sure how much you will save,
Base bronco with Sasquatch 2.7, switches and steel bumper is $43,400
So you have $26,600 to spend. To get
- Up grade fuel system,
- Bolt ons
- 3”+ lift kit
- Fox shocks
- Upgraded control/ trailing arms,
- Body reinforcements
- and big 37” tires.
Then your still missing out on drive modes, driver assistance, larger screen, nicer interior and more
In the end i think your spending about the same money.
If you order you shouldn't pay AMD. Aslo there are 3-4 shops that have had their broncos since October ish that have been working on stuffing a coyote in and have yet to see any update with the motor in. Its not worth the time or money. Vs a few bolt ons and updates to the 2.7 to make more power than a 5.0.You wouldn't start with a 2.7 or Sasquatch, because you are throwing it all away for race spec parts anyways. Sport modes are a Forscan software upgrade. Seats are an aftermarket leather upgrade for 2k.
Wheels are 1k, tires 2k.
A true base is 30k. A Raptor (pre-ADM) is 70k, after ADM is probably 100k+. That's a 70k delta to spend on parts and labor.
Sure, you can spec a 43k starting point, but why? That's 13k you could have already spent on things of your own choosing.
And no one is actually getting a 22 or 23 Raptor for MSRP.
Good point and I forgot about that specific 2-door truck. I don't know if that racing class limits tire size to 35s but that Brocno only has 35s and it looks real good. IMO 35s are the largest that look good on a 2-door and 37s are the largest on a 4-door.Some of you may want to read the article about the Bronco 4600 that is being tested on a 2-door frame. Kinda seems like the 2-door can fully support being even more of a badass!

hmm. Love the look but seems a bit much for my mall crawling lifeLooks just like my existing Base with aftermarket upgrades.

You sound like the guy that would tell someone not to buy a GT500 and just by a ecoboost and swap everything out lolYou wouldn't start with a 2.7 or Sasquatch, because you are throwing it all away for race spec parts anyways. Yeah, I see that. I don't have experience with the Gt350/GT500s, but I do have a GT3, and I'm not about to try and upgrade my daily Cayman S to match. It will never be the same. The platforms are so different. You sound like the guy that would tell someone not to buy a GT500 and just by a ecoboost and swap everything out lol
Also from what I understand putting a crate motor in a new vehicle is quite the headache trying to get everything to work properly. At least from what I've read on Mustang6G. I know it can be done but have heard it gets quite difficult because of all the electronics and computers
Here is a render of what the Bronco Raptor would look like as a two door model.
Original 4-door picture is below.
This was made to see how the proportions would stack up if Ford decides to produce a 2 door version.
I sure hope Ford releases this version in the future!
Original 4-door photo
The short wheelbase will not happen. I’d love it but just thinking it would do cartwheels on high speed dunes
Haha I saw that! But it looks like it’s actually a 4 door or a stretched 2 door. The wheel base is long! This would be awesome, funny enough, ford performance is making all their race trucks on the 2-dr platform.
