If Ford did this they can have the 100k. At least it's worth 100k 😏 not like the other bronco's.

those damn ricer kid fender flares are killing it for me. At least the F-150 Raptor flares are nicely integrated......
even painted they look silly.

but it still looks better on a proper Bronco 2 DOOR !!!!! and in the best color RR !

Looks just like my existing Base with aftermarket upgrades.

Buy a Base Base, and take the 50-70k you just saved over the Raptor and do the suspension upgrades and add leather seats.

Engine excepted.. but even so you could probably still do an engine swap to a true V8 with that 50-70k price difference and still come out ahead.
Not sure how much you will save,
Ford Bronco 2-Door Bronco Raptor Rendered 7E123A46-D690-4917-9FF4-7594D725FC9C

Base bronco with Sasquatch 2.7, switches and steel bumper is $43,400
So you have $26,600 to spend. To get
- Up grade fuel system,
- Bolt ons
- 3”+ lift kit
- Fox shocks
- Upgraded control/ trailing arms,
- Body reinforcements
- and big 37” tires.
Then your still missing out on drive modes, driver assistance, larger screen, nicer interior and more
In the end i think your spending about the same money.

You wouldn't start with a 2.7 or Sasquatch, because you are throwing it all away for race spec parts anyways. The Raptor has the same axles, so you keep that, but get a crate V8 engine for 7-10k and redo the entire suspension for 5-10k.

Sport modes are a Forscan software upgrade. Seats are an aftermarket leather upgrade for 2k.

Wheels are 1k, tires 2k.

A true base is 30k. A Raptor (pre-ADM) is 70k, after ADM is probably 100k+. That's a 70k delta to spend on parts and labor.

Sure, you can spec a 43k starting point, but why? That's 13k you could have already spent on things of your own choosing.

And no one is actually getting a 22 or 23 Raptor for MSRP.

If you order you shouldn't pay AMD. Aslo there are 3-4 shops that have had their broncos since October ish that have been working on stuffing a coyote in and have yet to see any update with the motor in. Its not worth the time or money. Vs a few bolt ons and updates to the 2.7 to make more power than a 5.0.

so even id you dont use a Sasquatch (your gonna need new axels, low range and entire suspension from the mounts out) thats still $37,000 MSRP. So 33k in spending money.
Again in don’t see you saving too much money.
doing it the RIGHT way not the cheapest way.
I see too many half assed jeeps with a cheap lift kit and 40s to know. Yes you get the “look” but NONE of the performance

Looks ridiculous IMO. Only the 4-door can pull off the Raptor's size/proportions. The 4-door folks will have to be given the win here :)

Some of you may want to read the article about the Bronco 4600 that is being tested on a 2-door frame. Kinda seems like the 2-door can fully support being even more of a badass!

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/ford-performance-debuts-bronco-4600-race-trucks.12269/
Good point and I forgot about that specific 2-door truck. I don't know if that racing class limits tire size to 35s but that Brocno only has 35s and it looks real good. IMO 35s are the largest that look good on a 2-door and 37s are the largest on a 4-door.

You sound like the guy that would tell someone not to buy a GT500 and just by a ecoboost and swap everything out lol

Also from what I understand putting a crate motor in a new vehicle is quite the headache trying to get everything to work properly. At least from what I've read on Mustang6G. I know it can be done but have heard it gets quite difficult because of all the electronics and computers

Yeah, I see that. I don't have experience with the Gt350/GT500s, but I do have a GT3, and I'm not about to try and upgrade my daily Cayman S to match. It will never be the same. The platforms are so different.

With that said, there are plenty of people who DO take a regular 991 911, redo the suspension with race parts, high flow the exhaust, tune in more boost, and then can easily keep up with both GT3s and GT3RSs on track.

The Base Bronco is not fundamentally that different from a Raptor. A GT3 has a 100k engine. In comparison the 3.0 in the Raptor is minor bump over 2.7. Ford themselves said they chose this path to minimize the extra engineering effort. The rest is suspension differences.

I'm skeptical that a Raptor is worth the 80-100k the market will ask, for the next 2 years. It's just not that much better than the lower trim options. The Bronco is already quite good and it doesn't take much money in upgrades to put it on par with what a Raptor would do.

Here is a render of what the Bronco Raptor would look like as a two door model.

Original 4-door picture is below.

This was made to see how the proportions would stack up if Ford decides to produce a 2 door version.

I sure hope Ford releases this version in the future!

The short wheelbase will not happen. I’d love it but just thinking it would do cartwheels on high speed dunes

This would be awesome, funny enough, ford performance is making all their race trucks on the 2-dr platform.

Haha I saw that! But it looks like it’s actually a 4 door or a stretched 2 door. The wheel base is long!
