Ya this is probably the one flaw in the 2dr that really does irritate me. I get atrocious mileage, and the small tank is a limiting factor. Would be interested in rigging up some kind of reserve tank for long trips out west

Definitely needed 5 more gallons

maybe the aftermarket will make some sort of replacement tank or reserve tank.

definitely going to carry some roto packs for exploring

I’ve been driving a Tahoe, Ranger, and old Mustang the last 20 plus years, so that 300 mile range isn’t a big deal for me.

I’ve been treehuggers worst nightmares when it comes to Co2 emmisons.

I have a 4 door and it does have a smaller tank than what we had thought.

We Drive from Dallas to Austin for holidays and after the trip we have 1/2 tank left (ram 1500) and damn near empty for the Bronco. Obviously MPG comes into account, but the range is more limited than what we are used to. Complaint? Not really, seeing as it is cheaper per fill up.

300 miles to a tank isn't much worse than the 350 my Flex could do. I'm used to frequently fillups.

My previous work truck (18 Silverado V6 4x2) could hit 550 on a tank. Good times.

Doesn't bother me at all, I'd be OK with it being even smaller. Still a lot more range than motorcycles which I've done long trips on.

A lower trim 2.3 2dr getting 20-22 is going to have more range than a higher trim V6 4dr getting 14-16 anyway, so your configuration plays a role.

Nope, came from a Sierra that had a 25 gallon tank on it, and the same/worse gas mileage. Filling up frequency is about the same as my Sierra, so its all I've known. No big deal.

Some things in life are worth more than gas mileage/# of times to fill up ;)

All of my vehicles to this point have had pretty lackluster MPG, so the number of stops for gas in any given time period has not changed. In conclusion, no, I'm not annoyed by the size of the tank or the MPG.

Thanks for the laugh! While I'm still waiting on my 2dr I'm now remembering criss-crossing the US on my bagger. Range anxiety can be REAL (and wayyyyyy shorter than the Bronco, LOL). Headed north out of the GC through Utah to Denver and parts east - don't sleep on that last chance gas at Salina (good advice for anyone but probably esp for 2dr Bronco, too)! Fortunately we knew about that one (it was a little over 100 mi) so were prepared, what we were not prepared for (different trip, obviously) was Arkansas. All I will say about that is that to this day I now do whatever I can to avoid driving through AR but IF I *must* drive through I fill up my tank to overflowing on the *other* side of the border before entering (not meant to be a shot at any AR residents, just a memorably bad experience).

So, no, I'm not concerned about 2dr range. More is usually better, of course, but frequently we find whatever we actually have can be made to be enough (whether it's fuel or something else).

Of course I wish it were a little bigger. Have to be more mindful of fuel level and available upcoming stations on my longer trips. Had to turn around for gas a few weeks ago before becoming stranded in BFE central Oregon.

Coming from my 2021 Silverado 1500 diesel that easily goes 650 miles on a tank, the tank in this 2 door Bronco seems small. My 87 Bronco was 32 gallons and only went the same distance as this new Bronco on 16.9, that truck got 10 mpg.
