2 Door owners MAD! Why?

Only reason my two door owning arse is perturbed is because the aftermarket parts makers for the most part ignore two doors.

Broncos were 2 door from 1966 to 1996. There were some custom 4 doors made by Centurian in the 80’s and 90’s, but otherwise Ford only built 2 door Broncos for 30 years. 4 door Broncos are seen by some (me) as a compromise to sell more Broncos to the masses. I’m not mad about anything, but I would never buy a 4 door as my first 4 Broncos were two door and I prefer the proportions and shorter wheelbase. I think there are better 4 door SUV’s on the market, like a 4 runner or GX460.

Jeep went through the same thing with the Wrangler, going 4 door to sell more to the masses. As long as the 2 door remains available and people buy them, Ford and Jeep will keep building them. Same thing with manual transmission, people need to keep buying them or they will get canceled. My local dealer has four Broncos on the lot, all four are manuals that aren’t selling. I have to admit the 2023 2 door Badlands SAS Lux is interesting to me, but not worth the difference in price compared to my 2021 2 door Badlands High.

Ford would never have made the 2 door if it weren’t for the 4wd Flex, err…. I mean 4 door Bronco. I totally appreciate them.

. From time to time I come on this forum. I find it helpful and interesting. Some of you guys are so helpful and informative. Why on almost every thread does someone mention something like; “that because it’s a four door”, “Two door Broncos are real Broncos”
Guys 2 door Broncos are awesome if you own one congrats and good for you. I hope you are happy as Larry with it. Many of us buy or bought the 4 door because it’s a better fit for us and our family. Many of you seem to be so upset at the idea that 4 door even exist. For those who feel that way I recommend some deep breaths & perhaps a hobby.
Mustangs are cool. Camaros are cool. You see. They both can be true.

Well, it’s banter and it’s fun. And it’s because from 66-96 a Bronco was a 2 Door truck and everything else, was something else.
