I measured the length of the hard top to be about 83” and if you include the windshield I would say you could at one or two inches.

I am looking into doing the same thing with my 2 door. I ideally wanted a hardshell one but I think it would have to hang over the front a little bit. I think most tents that fold in half and come out sideways should fit just fine on the 2 door. Roof Nest is one of my favorites but I think it might be a touch big.
Looking at the Falcon as well. think that's a good option with the rack option.

I wish I could unfortunately my insider...the Stig was busted..I'd say the next time be able to get close to one is when the dealer demos hit!!I'd love to know that also, as well as the width and length dimensions of the top of the 2-door cage when the roof is off (including the frame and not including it).
