2 door soft top vs hard top poll

If given the option, would you choose a soft top for your 2 door over the hard top?

With the rumor Ford was looking to produce 60% hard top and 40% soft top, puzzles me why the 2 door came with hard top automatically. With the way orders have been pulled (I know small sample size but still...) seems they are really building soft top 4 doors over hard tops. I'm just wondering how many 2 door purchasers would switch to a soft top even given the option to get a better chance at a MY21...

Sadly Im gonna be a 4 door guy. Just didnt get enough room for my dogs in the 2 door. I say go with a hard top for the 2 door. Its gonna be easy as hell to pull it and slap on a bikini. The full soft top would just have the side panels out way too often to justify the cost.

Too bad ford didnt hit it out of the park and come up with a hardtop that assembled like a soft top. With removable side panels(not just the glass) removable rear glass, and front panels that fold back instead of having to store somewhere. That would have been sick! Anyone in the aftermarket listening?

My theory is Ford would have liked to make a soft top standard on the 2-door...but obviously the one guy who knew how to make updates on B&P left the company some time ago

I swear...
There has never been a single pole that has my answer as a choice.

Hard top, because a tan or off-white twill top isn't available yet.

If they offered the fast back soft top, I probably would’ve gone that route. So I’m going hard top MIC and will get the soft fast back after market.

I'm coming from a Mustang Convertible. It really depends on how the top comes down. My 08 'Stang was great, never had a problem and sealed well. My 06 has awful wind noise once you get above 75-80 mph and the motor is weak and sad.

I figure the hard top (while harder to take down) will probably have a lot less wind/freeway noise, and I have to drive this car to work, not just on the trails.

If I could definitely get it early , an easy yes . Then would get a body colored top whenever it became available. And this includes companies beside Ford that will be making hard tops probably with sliding windows etc
