thanks! I haven’t installed the brake controller on the bronco. The trailer does have brakes though. I picked the trailer up in Seattle and towed it back to vegas in my pop’s Tundra which has the controller. Definitely a nice feature that I’ll add later.

Very cool. How long from order to delivery? I only live about 20 minutes form their facility in Woodinville WA... very interested!!

I ordered in October and picked it up in December. I think the production is going to take longer as they get more popular and get more orders.
I know they were locking in the 2021 price if you placed an order by the end of the year. I assume the supply chain issues could raise the price a bit. It’s worth a visit since you’re right there. They are a part of Vashon Aircraft. Super nice and easy to deal with. They didn’t seem annoyed at all by all my questions! Haha

Just got back from a quick camping trip on the Mojave Trail. Figured some 2-door owners might be interested in how the Bronco does towing. (2.7L auto/Sasquatch)

I was super happy! My trailer is a Mammoth Overland Trailer- weighs 2500lbs, we were probably closer to 3000 with the weight we had in it. I averaged 16.7mpg for the trip (180miles) and 150 of that was +70mph on the hwy. Tracks well, plenty of power for passing, and the short wheelbase was great for maneuvering the trailer.

By comparison, my Gen3 Tacoma got about 12mpg when towing and that was with a re-gear.

So cool. My wife and I were just looking at overland trailers and trying to figure what would work best weight wise when fully loaded given the constraints. Joy.. 3k was all good..! Enjoy your new ride and the holidays!

I wonder how much the Bronco could tow with significantly stiffer rear springs. Something like 50% stiffer rear springs would reduce the on-road understeer, too.

I think it would help. I definitely had some squat.

That trailer is awesome.

Honestly, 3,000lb is nothing, doesn't require much of a vehicle to handle that, Bronco is plenty capable.

I contacted them yesterday. 10-month lead time right now. I believe today or yesterday was the deadline to get 2021 pricing. May want to reach out to them directly if you are going to put a deposit down on a build.

Thanks! The FE is Lightning Blue- I only ordered that color as it was “exclusive” to the FE, but when I saw it in person I loved it!

Guarantee you https://mammothoverland.com/ site has been getting some major hits since @Potluck99 did his original post. I know I've been all over it. They need to hook you up with some free upgrades for all the great marketing!

I looked at the Intech explore model- the small “toy hauler” which I think is similar to the Chase. But it didn’t have comparable features or off road axles or lock n roll hitch. I am mostly using mine on BLM land so I needed it to be off road worthy.
The NASA stickers I got on EBay.
Awesome trailer and NASA sticker. Not pissing on your thread, but I at least should let you know it is illegal to use an official seal, or facsimile thereof, of a US Government Agency without permission.

18 U.S. Code § 701 - Official badges, identification cards, other insignia:

"Whoever manufactures, sells, or possesses any badge, identification card, or other insignia, of the design prescribed by the head of any department or agency of the United States for use by any officer or employee thereof, or any colorable imitation thereof, or photographs, prints, or in any other manner makes or executes any engraving, photograph, print, or impression in the likeness of any such badge, identification card, or other insignia, or any colorable imitation thereof, except as authorized under regulations made pursuant to law, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both."

I think the fine is $250; but that has probably been updated since 1994 or so. In the scope of things, I doubt you'd have an issue, but the next time you go camping and see little chevron-shape wheel tracks in the dirt, it could be NASA testing its next rover. If you are a registered Republican, then I might worry... :ROFLMAO:

That is one cool trailer. Can you post pics of what the interior of it looks like? And how much does one cost?

thanks for the warming- but you do realize NASA has merchandising agreements with many companies to use this logo in apparel, accessories, and in this case stickers. Which I have purchased from an authorized vendor.
