I don't know how you came across it, and neither does anybody else. The assumption is you were searching for them, but that's probably not accurate. I've accidentally commented on years-old threads before without meaning to, so I apologize for jumping to that conclusion. On the point that these threads and the crass own-teaming commentary are tiresome and kinda dumb, yes I agree.
With that being said, we can let it die all over again.

I don't understand the "real vs not real" Bronco stuff. I wanted a two door and luckily got one. I think they look better, personal opinion. I would not have bought a 4 door. If the Gladiator came in a 2 door I would have one of those. I hope people that got a 4 door like them. I'm not biased in any way. I would love to have a 2 door with the big V6 in a manual. I think we can all agree on that !!

Nah. It’s nothing more than tribalism. No more complicated than that.

“Insecurity” implies 2dr owners secretly covet 4drs. But if that were true, they would’ve just bought one in the first place (or trade in for one today)

the “afraid 2drs are on the chopping block” theory makes even less sense. I should be so lucky. Can you imagine what 2drs will be worth in the future once ford axes them?

That’s a HOPE, not a fear 😁
Shit! I thought the whole insecurity knock on the 6G forum was for the non-Raptor owners? ;)

There is nothing wrong with the Bronco wagon. Families like fun cars too.

Okay kids, light it up....

I've had for than a few people say to me "Thanks for buying a 2-door Bronco".... Yeah, 4-doors ain't Broncos. Deal with it.

I know, the 4-door trucks and Jeeps... and?

How about the SUV Lambos, 4-door Porsches, battery-"Mustangs", or my fav, the automatic transmission everythings. If you mentioned that stuff in the day you might as well been drinking a "raspberry-flavored, or maybe peach if that is more your style, beer".

I know, in 1975 you were all thinking 4-door Broncos were coming. Sure, tastes have evolved; but the one taste that hasn't is car company's desire to sell as many cars as they can regardless of how lame they are (stats are welcome here). See above.

I remember, again, back in the day, when Ford was going to get rid of the Mustang.... most V8 clowns didn't realize that it was the 4-banger at 90HP which kept it alive in the first place. (My '93 now does 550+ torque in a 3000lb car, but who's counting.....My '91 2.3 was probably the slowest yet most fun car I've ever had.)

Ford should never have made a 4-door Not-Bronco and let the dead lie.

I REALLY wonder how many of you would have bought a Bronco if it was a 2-door only. Ford obviously crunched the #s and said, "Not enough!".

But I know they're wrong.
No way I would buy a 4 door. Just bought a 2.7L Cactus Grey 2 dr Heritage. ❤

Real Broncos need the four-door copy cat vehicles; without them, our Broncos wouldn't look as awesome by comparison.

We need the four-doors like the 1%ers need the 99%
...to know we're better than they are.

Like the good looking people need uggos... like smarter than average bears need the average and below average bears... like the right tail needs the bell shape in a normal distribution... like the yoga shorts need the dirty sweatpants...

 😂
