I haven't drill down into this one, but the 2D has a smaller tank... With a bigger engine and the weight/aero penalty of the Squatch, is this thing gonna be just a inner city commuter?

17 gallons but you can't realistically use the whole thing

Realistic range could be as low as 200-250 miles between fuel stops. Ouch. I hadn't done the math on that until now....

Seems like people care more about range than mpg, that's going to annoy a lot of owners

sorry, but so what? my Liberty that I drive now pulls a trailer, hauls the dogs, commutes 45 miles each way to work, and gets me through the National Forest.

And, it gets around 14 mpg.

Well for one, I'm Canadian, so MPG to me is just used for comparison. Miles to KM I can figure out easy enough just to get an idea of range...

should be able to get pretty close to 300 unless you drive 75 plus all the time....

So, 510km. Not great but not terrible.
Compared to my Escape 2.0 EB, with roof carrier, AC on all the time, 100km/h everywhere (mostly highway) I got 600km range.
That's 9L/100km ?

That's about 18.5 mpg, which is probably in the realm of accurate for a tank that's mostly burned on the freeway at reasonable speeds

I’m gonna say about 275 miles, with reserve to 300

My 78’ F-150 has a 38 gallon tank and gets 10 mpg, sometimes 9 on a good day.

10 MPH? What are you in crawl mode?

Edit: Oh, 10 MPG.

It is an old farm truck. 4 speed, 1st in not syncronized, so I start in second in town. OG crawl gear.

Just get the 2.3 with the Sasquatch for better fuel mileage. Problem solved
