Same topic, different question: what kind of paint did you use and how did you get Cactus Gray match in that color?Getting it off with trim pry tools and back on with 3M automotive adhesive was easy enough. Getting it apart without breaking stuff was more difficult, though I imagine it is only because I didn’t have the proper tools. Eventually I was able to break all the plastic welds holding the logo together. Though I bet a Dremmel would have made easy work of them.
Paint code for the cactus gray is available online. I took that code to my local O’reilly auto parts store and had them use the code and add it to a spray can for me. Also got a clear coat in a can. Two coats of cactus, 1 coat of clear!Same topic, different question: what kind of paint did you use and how did you get Cactus Gray match in that color?
Driving to Houston with the wife currently and my Bronco is in it’s stable at home. Once I get back this evening I’ll snap a few pictures of my JBL set up. Any particulars you want to see?We currently have a Big Bend soft top which we are modifying but the Badlands will be at a whole other level.
do you have any picks of the jbl speaker?
They are my wife’s favorite add-on, since she has so much trouble getting her butt up and in. With as easy as they were to install it seems like a no brainer for folks looking for something similar. Build quality seems solid enough for the basic materials being used.Love the grab handles.
Strangely enough, I've only seen 2 2DR Broncos on the street so far. Both were Cactus Gray!Feels like we are riding on a unicorn. I have every constraint you can come up with, but still had her by first of Oct 21. Got so lucky, and am so happy I waited for what I truly wanted.
Definitely easy to install if you understand the basics of electrical work, and are organized. I think getting it wired up was easier than making sure I found a way to hide all the wires so you couldn’t see anything through the grill. Wired em up to my pre-wired aux switches. Love itHow hard was that to install? And does it turn on with your headlights or aux?
