So taking the X-plan away has got me irritated. been thinking for the price of the new Bronco I could probably buy 2 of something nice instead such as a couple really good used jeeps for me and the wife or a nice used truck/suv and a car

I was interested in bronco until details came out about the electronics and drivetrains. The pricing on everything today is insane too. I don't want a car mortgage, so I guess I'll stick with japanese motorcycles and spend more time investing.

It's not really changed my position, for $100 down with Stephens, I'm still waiting it out, but if my current SUV was to give up I have thought about this....

96/97 7.3 powerstroke F250 or F350

And a same era Bronco

I can pick up both of them in good shape with the money I was using as a downpayment alone....so an old school Land Rover Defender 90 would probably get thrown in the mix too ?

That would make me a happy man!!

I've actually been thinking about this more and more since I left Nazi California and all it's damned import/smog/BAR laws. Now that I live near the Canadian border, let's both go in on some cruisers. Either that or some Delicas.

I'm originally from the UK, you can pick up old farm Defenders for under 10k back there, I'm not afraid of a project so I'd just get a friend to pick me one up through it in a container and ship it over haha
