its never going get to 7 bucks by 2022 it always go down , how many times have people been saying that for the last 20 years
It's standard scare-mongering consistently trotted out by...people of a certain political persuasion.

yes and they all old you think by 2021 ford would have it get better MPG the biggest complaint about the 4runner was it sucked on gas
They're all old? The Defender that just came out is old?

The Pentastar has been in production since 2010. The dual VVT-i 1GR-FE has been in production since 2009. The 2.3 EcoBoost has been around since 2015, and is based heavily on the 2.0 EcoBoost which has been in production since 2010. The 2.7 EcoBoost has been in production since 2015. They're not that much newer than what the competition has.

It's a brick sitting on big tires, there's really only so much you can do.

Hello again :)
While viewing Broncos in San Diego, I messed with the cluster to see what's there, it was cool but I couldn't help to not notice the 20.1 Average MPG!
While I have no idea how the car was driven but I am guessing no one bothered to reset it.

I understand that mileage is not a concern for a lot of people, but where I live, we will hit $5 very soon, having a decent 20 mpg is nice to have specially for someone like me who does 1500+ miles per month.
Same Bronco today in Irvine. It looks like they enjoyed driving it since yesterday.

Cool! this means that they didn't reset the trip in the last 3451 miles, the drive from San Diego to Irvine was all highway, but looks like the enjoyed driving the car and that's why it went down to 19.6 mpg.
Thank you! I now wish others track this Bronco all the way to Portland :D

Having daily driven a 1963 Thunderbird that got ~6 mpg for the year that premium was over $4.50 a gallon here in the PNW, and with a daily commute of "only" 30 miles of stop-and-go traffic, I had a lot of time to make friends at gas stations.

The operating range was 4 trips driving to/from work, unless traffic was really bad and then it would only get 2-3 trips.

You aren't aware of how much you appreciate gasoline until your vehicle range is 60-100 miles with a 10 gallon tank and burning through 3-5 tanks a week.

Bronco at 20ish MPG would be awesome!

why does the average mpg gauge only go up to 40 mpg? How are we supposed to know what our average is when we start cruising on the highway?
A Bronco wouldn't achieve 40MPG if dropped from a plane.

I personally like it, however the newest car I owned in the last 5 years was a 2016 Charger R/T so any cluster will be huge improvement from my 2013 Corvette or 2010 Miata :D
The Charger cluster is sweet having true gauges and the digital screen in between!

we " HAD" Broncos displayed in San Diego on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, they are no longer in San Diego anymore, in LA area for the week and then moving up north.

The cluster is the single worst aspect of the interior.
Give yourself a chance to get acquainted with the rest of the interior. I'm sure you'll find something worse. 😄 I'm worried there's going to be some hard plastic in too many touch points.

my 2008 F 150 4X4 5.4L V8 gets 9/10 city - 15 highway

I'll be happy as sh*t if my Bronco gets 20.1 mpg 😋
Oof, you have some heavy shoes. Our 2004 F150 FX4 SuperCrew 5.4 easily averages 14 city and 17 highway, 18 with careful cruising. If you're going to only get 9, might as well get a sports car. 😄
