4X4 700 mi on it...first day hwy 70mph almost 28mpg 2nd Day keeping it at 65mph for 40 miles..little better than 29mpg....I wasn’t believing this. When I filled up with fuel did the math, truck computer was accurate within .8 mpg....average is a little over 20mpg, lots of idling, and aggressive drivingWhat are all the new owners getting for gas mileage?
Thanks

I am hoping I get close to your numbers. For those of us that don't live in hilly or mountainous regions, the fuel economy should be better. If I can get mid 20s for my trips to the Gulf (about 80-100 miles one way) for my weekend kayak trips, I'll be very happy.4X4 700 mi on it...first day hwy 70mph almost 28mpg 2nd Day keeping it at 65mph for 40 miles..little better than 29mpg....I wasn’t believing this. Understand, those numbers were HWY, fairly flat, no passing, no accelerating, cruise control, pretty much optimum conditions, I do believe driving, more conservative, I could average 23 mpg, pretty easy, think I will try it next few days!I am hoping I get close to your numbers. I have found my 2016 Fusion to be pretty much spot on.How are you guys figuring mileage? Manually calculating MPGs or are you using the MPG number calculated by the truck in the info screen?
The reason I ask is because my 2016 Fusion says my gas mileage is better than it actually is when I divide mileage by actual gas pump gallonage.
