I don't yet own one but I'm very interested in this.

From what I've read on this forum, no one is getting the listed mpg.

I assume it's because it's too new and not yet loosened up (broken in) or most likely, owners can't stay off the peddle because of the pep I hear about. I know that would be me.

1100 miles, mixed driving conditions. 22.5 mpg’s, premium fuel only. Sidenote: just like with the Focus RS, a noted difference in performance after 1000 miles...

3000km or 1800miles+/- averaging 21 mpg with the towing time taken out. Its quite cold and snowy up here, so that includes lots of remote starts and idling.
There is also the times I cant keep my foot out of it! Got her up over 110mph the other day before I backed off, I,ll just say it got there quick:like:

4X4 700 mi on it...first day hwy 70mph almost 28mpg 2nd Day keeping it at 65mph for 40 miles..little better than 29mpg....I wasn’t believing this. When I filled up with fuel did the math, truck computer was accurate within .8 mpg....average is a little over 20mpg, lots of idling, and aggressive driving

The drive home and some daily errands consisting of 75 mph interstate and rural 45 mph roads is showing 23.2 on the mpg gauage with 250 miles on the truck .. I reset both my trips before leaving the dealer .. my first thoughts is these truck will get some serious mpg in the 50-60 mph range

I am hoping I get close to your numbers. For those of us that don't live in hilly or mountainous regions, the fuel economy should be better. If I can get mid 20s for my trips to the Gulf (about 80-100 miles one way) for my weekend kayak trips, I'll be very happy.

Those are some decent numbers. I only 23 with Edge. So If I can close to that with the Ranger I am on board. Its still not here yet.

Understand, those numbers were HWY, fairly flat, no passing, no accelerating, cruise control, pretty much optimum conditions, I do believe driving, more conservative, I could average 23 mpg, pretty easy, think I will try it next few days!

I can tell you this..pushing the truck into a north wind at 20 mph at 5 below zero I see mileage drop to 13.5 MPG at 80 mph. ;) air gets pretty dense at those temps.

How are you guys figuring mileage? Manually calculating MPGs or are you using the MPG number calculated by the truck in the info screen?

The reason I ask is because my 2016 Fusion says my gas mileage is better than it actually is when I divide mileage by actual gas pump gallonage.

I've had many Ford trucks/cars and the computer is always at least 1mpg better then hand calculations.

I have found my 2016 Fusion to be pretty much spot on.
