Yeah their stuff sucks. I have an $$ Redcat and a $ Maistro and even the Maistro runs circles around New Bright.

I'd just like to confirm, this thing is a huge steaming pile. After weeks of hit and miss negotiating with certain idiots on fleabay, I finally managed to acquire one and it showed up yesterday. Quality is horrible, and the body on mine was tilted due to the assembler melting a mounting point with what I imagine was either a soldering iron or a hot glue gun. Only 2wd, tiny motor, severely underowered steering servo, hard tires, poor excuse for shocks with little travel before interfering with the out of scale body (seems to be 1:10 scale body on 1:8 scale frame). Luckily I only wanted this for the body, so I can mount on an RC4WD chassis.

Pic of unfinished RC4WD Cruiser for scale - looks like the Bronco body should fit on my other RC4WD chassis, the TF2 with slightly longer wheelbase.

Here's some pics of the shit quality, that they clearly dismissed and failed to reject:

Portal axles on a Bronco!

Did you leave the TRX4 at its stock wheelbase, or did you shorten it? From the picture, it looks like the front axle is pushed forward from the centre of the wheel well just a bit, which is often how people would build a rock crawler in 1:1 scale.

soo the body is closer to a true 1/10 scale. I first tried putting it on the shorter kit, but it pulls the rears too far in based on the body mount I setup, the front ends up being pretty close. In the end I put it back to the standard TRX4 wheelbase. to be honest the SCX10 would be the ticket because it has the ability to move the front and rear axle mounts.

I also swapped out a TRX4 spare tire onto the Bronco body and lost the cheesy plastic wheel

Yeah $70 for a body is steep. I'm hoping that some RC company will start making the 1/10 shells soon, then I'll be interested.
