BTW, I love that we are discussing in detail, photos that are no longer on this website. Very surreal.

I thought this was settled with the UAW contract document that specified where the "Bronco swing gate" would be made.

Hi guys, new here, just joined today.
These are the things I know. Itll be steel, not aluminum; The robots going into the plant are welding robots, not riveters.
Those pics are not from a production line built vehicle; the tooling for the production line has not been fully installed and operational yet.
Welcome to the forum!
Could those robots be for aluminum welding? I have 2018 Expedition, which has fully aluminum body and I clearly saw welds on it.

Those are rivets that you see. They look just like spot welds, but I assure you that they are rivets.

Edited to add: having been inside of Kentucky Truck Plant, there are no welds on either the Super Duty body or the Expedition body. It's all rivets and adhesive.

Oh good. More anonymous claims.

Re: the pirated pics, they remind me of my EB a lot. The two door looks like it has about the same amount of room behind the back seat as an EB.

They can be found easily
I know, but it’s funny that they are not here. Usually have posts full of zoom ins and arrows.

it is perfectly reasonable to me. I plan on removing the rear seats anyways.
Yep, that's plenty of storage. You can carry 4 people or a bunch of gear, but not both at the same time, which is perfectly fine for my usage.

The 4 door will offer more space for those that need it.

maybe sounds like a dumb question but, I've never had a vehicle with a rear-mounted spare. What keeps the tweakers from taking my wheel is there some kind of lock on some of the current setups out there? Do you think Ford will add that?

Everything I've seen with a rear mounted spare has a lock on one of the nuts on the back. My Pajero does and the Wranglers I've seen do too. I'd be shocked if the Bronco doesn't.
