But I was hoping/looking for the REAR roof rack, have you seen it?

Only seen pictures, but that is the one I want. Aftermarket maybe? Just need enough space for recovery boards and FulepaX. Of course this setup puts weight over the rear instead of midship; probably why Ford doesn’t list it.

No, the 2.7 engine is 440 lbs and the 10 sp trans is 235 lbs.

Think body, frame, axles, wheels, brakes, suspension, etc, etc weights another 4,000 lbs or so.

There are a number of things I wouldn't pay Ford for but this would be number one. You could make them for like $10.

No, the 2.7 engine is 440 lbs and the 10 sp trans is 235 lbs.

Think body, frame, axles, wheels, brakes, suspension, etc, etc weights another 4,000 lbs or so.

Give or take an eighth of a ton or so.

Where is the "bring your own device" dash rail?

Rumor circulating around here is that the BYOD dash rail is part of the lux package. -- Although I haven't seen it listed on any of the official documents.

I went through the entire list a few times and am very upset to find that my initial guestimate of accessory items was not adequate.

With this list i'm going to be out an entire $149 over the basic build & price configuration. Ford is gouging on this...... those bastards!

Weight distribution is important for safety and performance. The more weight you add, and the further away from truck’s Center of Gravity (CG), the more unstable your truck can become — unless, of course, you add it below the CG. Adding weight to the roof is the worst. Would not want to run Black Bear Pass with a heavy roof top tent.

It will get clear as people start building these things...the awesome part is that Ford has thought out the truck and parts so that 37s or 40s are actually doable in a good way. That is the awesome part. You can build this thing as big and bad as you want it.

Agree and cannot wait. Love my Gladiator and cannot wait to build the Bronco

5.38 gears, upgraded half shafts/drive shafts and Ford performance suspension??? Trail armor for basically the whole thing? What in the actual shit that is F’n AWESOME

Edit just so y’all are aware as well... 5.38 gears get you the same overall gearing ratio on 40’s as the 4.7 gets you on 35’s. Food for thought...

Do we have transmission and transfer case ratios so we can figure out final drive ratios?
