I work next door to the Line-X corporate office I spied this sitting out in their “holding” cage, I am pretty interested to see what happens here.
Wonder what that would look like with line x on the outside as well. Ooh, maybe a full coating on the inside floor? Burt that would suck up most of the available GVW...

This should put to rest that we won’t be waiting years for accessories. The thought that 3rd party items won’t get designed until they have a unit bought off the production line was misguided in my opinion. This demonstrates what will be the case for many of Fords partners and 3rd party suppliers. With today’s technologies available, 3D models are supplied well in advance of customer production. That’s not to say they provide this information to everyone but to targeted partners. The information sharing is bi-directional so it does not come without effort and management. Where physical models are required for processes other than size can be had as shown above.

Interested to see what this might be about. I'm giving serious consideration to giving LineX treatment to my bumpers, grill, flairs, and rock rails if for no other reason to make the GD colors match. I guess we can put the hardtop on that list too. We shall see.

I know it's a bit cliched but one must get rid of the Frankenstein plastic hodgepodge that is MY21!

Some have said line x doesn't recommend nor will warrant top being sprayed

Common practice to "cover your ass" against those nitpicking customers that don't understand the concept. Without a doubt you can spray one, just not sure how well it will hold up.

We sprayed this chrome Toyota grille because the customer had it painted and it peeled off. When the customer asked if we could Line-X it we said "Yes, but won't warranty if it peels."

Has not had a problem.
