what are people expected to hear from dealer? I reserved the day after reveal I think and got an email a day later asking me if i had any questions to call. Of course when I did they couldnt answer any of my questions.

yeah, ive been in touch with my reservation dealer and im in a good spot financially (at the moment). but i can completely understand how other folks on the forums are feeling based on the comments ive seen in other threads.

I'll openly admit my disgruntlement with Ford has been growing over the years. This is just more fuel on the fire.

LOL! I have never owned or bought a Ford so i’m whatever about it. As long as I get it eventually and for me the later the better, i can save more. I pre-ordered this on a whim a few weeks ago so I wasn’t waiting for this.

So the car (mk5 jetta tdi) we are planning to replace with the Bronco has developed three things yesterday after my wife took it out (it was her car before we even met).
- rear tire got a screw in it. no biggie. easy fix.
- when she started it and backed out of the garage (on top of the puff of smoke, normal for the age) there was a bunch of rust/dirt/shavings of metal that dropped down from it. most likely from the DPF or exhaust pipes..
- and the big one, turning extreme left and right, you hear this boing/twang sound from the front suspension. not steering, but i think the springs and shocks are getting worse. (250,000km, original shocks, bushings, etc.)

i'm afraid to take it to a shop or even take it apart. still drive able but need to be replaced soon. hope it lasts until the spring.

My family has owned Fords at various times since the 80s and we're probably on our 15th or 16th as a family. It's mostly the F150 that has kept us in the brand. So yeah, we've been through some dark times with Ford. lol

Not understanding the connection some of y'all are trying to make between the October dealer switch deadline and B&P. Either you've talked to your dealer and know how they plan to handle the sale or you haven't. The Build and Price is a completely separate animal.
